![]() ESPN's Ryan Corazza reports that the Grizzlies still are not enamored by Conley's game, although his post allstar statistics were very encouraging;
14.7PPG/46%FG/5.8A/1.7STL Considering Conley's youth, and superior speed he could complement our core of high flying wings (Weems/Dero)? Chris Wallace isn't the swiftest of Managers, and Jose's shooting would complement a Gay/Mayo/Randolph/Gasol offensive machine better than Conley's. Plus Gasol and Jose are probably palls. Just wondering if the Raps had something on the table, if ya'll would consider. Last edited by Joshz; 07-26-2010 at 10:39 PM. |

![]() yes, Conley would fit i well. But there would definately be something between he and Jack if Conley outperformed Jack and took a staqrting job from him.
But a deal around Jose(who Memphis liked a while back) and Conley would be ideal. |

![]() 4.9Million this year(Qualifying offer = 6.4Million in 2011).
I wouldn't mind adding the ex-Buckeye to the Raptors. Young and would fit in with the other young guys. Seems like Memphis has been looking to trade him for some time as his name has been in many rumors. |

JJ is more efficient on offense. JJ is more than adequate as a starting point guard. Conley is about as good (depending on how you value offense/defense) with more potential for improvement, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. The Raptors have more pressing needs at the moment. |

![]() Corrected my earlier post "Rudy/Gay" I meant "Gay/Mayo".
But I would take Conley + Filler for Calderon based on Conley's quicks. Either way, this years draft is full of premier PG prospects with significantly higher ceilings than Conley thus I'd view Conley as a young addition at a position that is currently filled only with vets, but I wouldn't see him as a long term solution. |
