The Lakers need a guy who can defend from the 1 rather than a straight distributor as Kobe handles the ball way too much for Calderon to really be effective. I can only think of Jose as a key back up piece and maybe a team like Portland (?) could use him to back up Felton or vice versa.
Knicks really need a PG that isn't affraid to score and be another option. Carmello just takes way too many shots right now. I think they take their chances with Baron when he comes back and go after Williams when the time comes if he opts out.

If Caldy is going to the Mavs, I want Beaubois I don't care what it takes.

Don't Forget JV is coming next season, and to build his confidence we must have a PG who can play, pick n roll well. I think Calderon would compliment JV's game and would help him to adjust to nba

If we're going to trade Jose for Harris, I want Burks too.

Jose and Bayless for Harris and Burks.

Hence why Nash is perfect there. They need a guy to calm things down and keep the pecking order in check. That's were Calderon is golden. However, they need a guy to also penetrate to set up guys like Amare for easy dunks and kick out to Melo for open easy jumpers. That's not Calderon's forte. He'd work but not easily. Like I said, Nash is the best fit there.

Not happening at all. You're not gonna get that type of value for Calderon. You'd probably have to give up DeRozan for Beaubois.

I agree. I think Nash this year and next makes them a top 3-4 team in the East.

Except they've cleared room to sign Howard and D. Williams next season so they don't want Calderon's contract on the books next year.

I could see Deron being a good fit there, I'm not so sure of Dwight though. I still think Dwight ends up somehow in Brooklyn (chasing those sponsorship dollars he already has).

I know . We all know that Beaubois a beast, but I don't understand why the Mavs keep him benched.

NYY can't fit Dwight into their payroll with Anthony, Stoudemire and Chandler. No one'll want to take Stoudemire off their hands to help them out if that's what they're thinking.

Think it's because they have Kidd and Delonte West at PG and Terry and V. Carter at SG. Beaubois started in Kidd's place the other day and Kidd has looked awful so Beaubois will probably get more starts or at least minutes at Kidd's expense.

Brooklyn = the Nets.

I agree, if Dwight doesn't stay in Orlando, he'll end up playing for NJ, with or without Deron.

He'll go to NJ without Williams? I doubt that.

you know what they say about great minds

Beaubois is a keeper for the Mavs since they hope he can fill Terry's role and they have him signed for $2 mil next year (decent value and provides cap space for a big FA in the offseason)... and he's their best shot blocker

I don`t think we need a PG for him back. I can`t think of a lot of teams that would really need him right now.
Thats laughable. On a contender he'd be a pretty awesome PG. Problem is, who are they willing to give back, any move would be lateral.

Might not be a bad idea, free up some cap space and get a 1st rounder, 11-20th? Still could get a quality player to go along with our top 5 pick and JV. Good young core.
