Source: James, Bosh Seriously Considering Miami - Magic News Story - WKMG Orlando

Can Miami control all 3 free agents? Surely they dont have enough cap space?

Isn't that what everyone said about the Boston Celtics when they got Pierce/Garnett/Allen?

I just don't see this happening. We'll see. Man i want nothing to do with Beasley, Cook or anything they have to offer. If we have to trade Bosh to Miami, hopefully it's a 3 team deal.

I would seriously hope two of them blew out knees... I'm not saying, I'm just saying....

LBJ's elbow excuse wouldn't do him so good anymore if this happened.

Will never happen. If they sign both, then they're forced to through away Wade unless James and Bosh have total salary of 15 mill.

As of now the Heat has only 7Mil committed to next season once they turn down the option on Jones, and that includes Beasley who'll likey be dealt in the Bosh deal.

So if they were to sign Wade & Lebron to max deals their payroll would be in the 45Mil+ range. How can they then add Bosh at 20Mil. That would leave them with 65Mil payroll and only 5 players....4 if Beasley is dealt.

they could if they ship out their 3 players for cap space then sign them all, they'll take up all the space and have to fill the rest of the team with D Leaguers

Well they'd forfeit their MLE, vet minimum, LLE. Unless they structure it the right way.

Sign Lebron, trade for Bosh..then go over the cap by re-signing Wade allowing them to keep their MLE...

If, and that's a huge if, all three are ready to make huge monetary sacrifices, it could most certainly happen:

1. Miami renounces Wade, thus clearing his cap hold of around 17 mil. As a result, they'd be left with around 7 mil in total salary obligations for the next season (yeah, and Wade will lose the extra money he would have been eligible for if re-signing with his team).

2. They get together with the Heat and decide what amount the team could spend to sign all three while still leaving some money to round up the roster. The cap is going to be around 56 mil, out of which 49 will be available. Say, Riley says he is ready to coach again and that he needs another 7 mil plus whatever vet exceptions to actually put a team together. They'd have 42 mil to split among the three of them, obviously providing maximum allowed raises over the course of the contracts. That's give each of them a starting salary of 14 mil/season - a far cry from the max deals they could've commanded, but if winning really is everything - not a champ's change either.

No player ever took less money than he could've (save for end of the line veterans). Even if they'd entertain the option, I suspect their agents, the league and the player association would take issue with this (especially the players association, for setting up a precedent). And Bosh would become the third wheel on that team, when he wants to be the man. I don't see this happening, 0% chance

Miami in the end may be the team that is looking out.
I serious don't believe either Bosh or LBJ are going there.
They have the distict possibility of loosing Wade as well.

Beasley for Dooling was strictly cap related Doolings was an expiring and NJ wasn't that stupid. See Johnson or Boozer going there.

Wasn't it Wade who arranged that little meeting between Lebron, Bosh, and Joe Johnson?
Maybe it was a sales pitch for Miami.

If this happens don't be surprised if Pat Riley becomes head coach once again.
