I'm guessing he's not since his team didn't even qualify for the NCAA tournament.

Manu has won the triple (olympic gold, world championship + nba championship). didn't Harden start when he was in the ncaa? Waiters played 24 mpg. Lambplayed 37 mpg. Lillard played 34.5 mpg. Rivers played 33 mpg. These guys all played major minutes which Manu and Harden also do for their teams. Now, either Syracuse are super super super deep, Waiters didn't/can't play major minutes or he had an injury and thus his mpg is skewed.

Wtf are you talking about?

UConn was not great in March but Lamb dominated as a freshman in 2011 tournament on a better team.

You're correct, Syracuse was a very deep team. I assumed you had done enough homework to know this.

NCAA has 40 mins in a game. he just played over half a game.

If the team was so deep wouldn't they be able to hide his weaknesses while outlining his strengths? I read somewhere that Cuse hid his horrid d using a zone defense.

If he is coming to this team he has to be able to play near 30 mpg regardless whether he comes off the bench or starts. This team isn't deep, especially in the backcourt. I hope he's mentally and physically prepared to adjust himself.

everyone plays zone in 'cuse

i'd be a little wary myself about the minutes he played, but based off his impact in those limited minutes and syracuse being one of the top teams in the nation, it's not that big of a deal. there's a lot of nba players who played behind talented, more senior players until they were a junior or senior, so i wouldn't put too much stock into the whole thing about him being a 6th man.
