Question So who's the next coach?

Since the talk is always about how we need a new coach, who would you like to see here and why?

Sorry Acie.
I would take Flip between the 2 because he is more of a defensive coach and as the saying goes defense wins you championships

No worries Gurk.

See I think Van Gundy is more of a defensive oriented coach. Although I saw enough walking the ball up the court and eating up as much time to limit the amount of possessions your opponents gets with KO to last me a lifetime.

Who ever is brought in next (whenever that happens) it doesn't matter because within a year or shortly thereafter he'll be blamed for almost every loss.

JVG would be my choice

I'd settle for Triano or Armstrong, though

I actually think if this team continues to mire in mediocrity, though there are some signs that they may not, i see Alex English taking over on an interim basis, with BC conducting a more thorough search at the end of the season to see who's in and out.

i'd like to see flip. experienced. respected, and a hell of a basketball mind. sure there's some talent in europe, and maybe this is the place for them to come and make their mark, but for now, it's flip or sam.

i dont know. triano seems to have the respect and admiration of one steve nash. he's been pretty good in international play, but yeah, i guess coaching there is like coaching CYO ball. zing!

I think GOD's contract demands would be to high for MLSE. He may actually ask them to have some moral fiber and give fans a break and lower ticket prices.

until Sam's 3 year $4 million extension is up, we're not changing coaches. But he will be out once his contract is done. I think its done 2010.

JVG would be good IMO

After the end of the last night's game is there any more doubts with regards to our coaching situation? I guess even LX would have to admit that those two failed inbounds plays alone are enough to indict Smitch. Once again, he was outcoached badly by Frank and the team with far less talent won on our court when AB, CB and Jose were having stellar games.

Coaches? I'd love to give Blatt or Messina a try as I am sure that European team play model would suit this roster better than traditional NA one.
