Question So Bosh leaves and in his first game against the Raptors...

So Bosh leaves and in his first game against the Raptors he's matched up at both ends against Andrea.

Predict and explain what happens...

his teamates pass the ball into him and he drops it.

he holds the ball on every possession from that point on for 5 seconds and shoots only 17 foot jumpshots and ends the game with 19 and 8

bargs continues to get the ball when he is hot, ends game with 20 and 8

Bosh goes off for 40 but (team) has no other options so Raptors win

Bargs shuts down CB but he still gets his 20 (see game 7 Kobe)

Raptors win with DeRozan and Bargs leading the way.

Bosh builds a 18 point lead going into the 4th quarter but Wade goes off for 27 points and Raptors win.

Bosh's eyes gets bigger when he sees Bargnani guarding him. Bargnani gets three fouls in the first 5 minutes. Bosh has monster games 40 points, 15 rebounds, Bargani fouls out in the 3rd Quarter and plays 10 minutes. Raptors have nobody who can keep Bosh in check. Remember how McGrady and Vince Cater torched us when they left the team, history will repeat.

The Raptors win big after Bosh has one of his games where he's still shaking the rust off and figuring out new teammates. Bargnani heats up in the second quarter, and the young guns take it from there, especially on the defensive end.

After that the Raptors lose 15 straight, finishing the season 29-53, and Bosh goes on to the NBA Finals.

bargnani won't foul a fadeaway jumpshooter.

I don't think Bosh would abuse Bargnani in the post and I think Bargs' length would bother Bosh's outside shot as well. On the other end, I think Bargs can muscle CB under the basket in the low post and his three point game would, of course, depend on Bosh's willingness to come out and guard him on the perimeter.

But what I believe even more likely is them not guarding each other.

Are you suggesting that is how Bosh got to the line so much?

OMG - But Bargnani is a PF!!!!!!

But you're right. They won't guard each other all that much, since Bosh is likely to have someone bigger next to him to take Bargnani, with the help of guards coming in to double him and shut him down completely, and Bargnani is not going to be able to handle Bosh on his drives into the paint.

LX, I still think Bargs is a centre. A little unconventional, but a centre nevertheless.

Actually, he is like Gasol, capable of playing either 4 or 5.

i think Bargs will guard Bosh just fine as long as he doesn't get into foul trouble early. and i'd think Bargs would torch bosh, since Bosh isn't exactly great defensively
