I'm guessing we'd have to get Banks though. Miami has to lose Banks in a Marion deal because they picked up his contract getting Shaq, they don't want to come out of that deal doing O'Neal for the worse O'Neal + Banks' bad contract. Maybe we'd get rid of Kapono at the same time. JO/Kapono/Graham for Marion/Banks/Cook/Anthony sounds all right.
Swich Kaps for Ap and Joey for Moon.

The only reason we have interest in him is because Bryan used have him in PHX and that was a run and gun team and now he's rying to make Toronto a run and gun team

I don't know how he would get to Toronto, but Marion would definitely bring rebounding and run & gun prowess to the SF position.

I'd just hate to see that uggly-ass shot of his - Oh, and we have his nickname/new moniker ready for him when he gets here: "Shawn Moron"

Ya I know its a confusing post, I want him here but I don't want him here, they're equal

I'm hoping that while MIA and CLE deal Wally and Marion to eachother, we can be a third team and snag Varejao from them.

Moon is rebouding well lately, not sure if Marion will be that much of an improvement there. But he is definitely an huge upgrade on defense. But again, what's he going to solve, since he will likely leave after half a season. Not worth the trouble I think, but maybe Colangelo hopes to keep him after this season too. If they reach an agreement to resign for a moderate in the 10 million range, I'm all for it. If it's just for half a season, than forget it - he's not going to make us a contender.

I dont trust Bargs enough to give up JO. JO provides us with toughness and an inside presense we needed for ages. I would rather see Bargs develop and trade JO next year for an athletic all around swingman

I don't like this trade. Without O'Neal's presence on this team, our interior defense is going to get raped like a 19-year old cheerleader showing up at Kobe Bryant's front door.... why doesn't anyone ever talk about that anymore?

If we can get anything for Bargnani we should pull the trigger. I was as optimistic as anyone that he was going to be a good player but I can't stand watching him walk around the court any longer. Kid has no heart period. He makes you a believer for one game and then sleeps through the next 6. He plays with zero intensity. Last night against the mavs he sulked around like his dog had died...I'll give him this, it can't be easy moving from starter to bench, from SF to C, but all I ask is that when he's on the floor he runs, boxes out and occasionally makes a slight effort for a rebound. He's 7 feet tall for eff sakes.

I doubt it's possible but if the raps could ever get Marion and keep JO they'd be tough.

Bosh, JO, Marion, Calderon - insert any of our average at best swing men.

Bargnani would have to go in the trade, as would JK for $$ reasons, along with, Moon or someone. Who the hell would want Bargnani, Moon and JK anyways?

With Bargnani gone we would have to try to keep Hump...who can play. He brings the intensity that Bargnani lacks. He rebounds and tries to play D.

Marion would help solve our two biggest problems...Rebounding and perimeter D. He's shown that he can D up from point guard to power forward with success. On offense he's not going to break guys down off the dribble and score, but right now our biggest problems aren't at the offensive end.

Anyways, I find it hard to believe that we get much help via trade this year. So, watch, suffer, curse at the tv. Unless some guys other than JO and Bosh start playing with some intensity on a regular basis it's going to be a long season.
