Noch is a scrappy, tough player. I like him, always have. He's not afraid of taking it hard to the rim.

Now, if I'm looking for a big man who can D up. I'd look at charlotte and Emeka which well would cost a lot in terms of talent, or Pryzbilla in Portland. He's a really tough kid (watching him stand up to Shaq a few times made me admire him) and D's up really well. AND I don't think it would cost us THAT much in terms of talent seeing how Oden is their big centrepiece next season.

From what I've read of Chicago fans on boards, they're pretty pissed at Nocioni this year... He's been a chucker. I'm still not too sold on him.

Well that's true

But can you imagine a team with

Delfino
Hump
TJ
Nocioni
Bargnani(in 1st quarters)

Hell, Sam might even play them all at the same time!

I like TJ but I wouldn't call him a vast upgrade over Hienrich....not from a comlete game standpoint. Nocioni has been a starter this year and not as glued to the bench as you suggest..i watched the game last night with Cleveland and he plays relevant minutes.

Nocioni is lucky to get over 20 minutes a game...
duhon is lucky to even get into the game during garbage time.

the bulls have shown that since the trade, nocioni is expendable.
he's a 7th man on that team.

hinrich has been crap this season... the guy shoots 40% and barely puts together 6 assists a game. you ask any bulls fan, they'd dump him under a bus if they got the chance.
if he was a premiere PG, they wouldnt have tinkered with their lineup a few months back when they tried starting duhon for a game.. then even tried gordon at point... LOL.

bulls could get an offensive PG in TJ, and a big man in Rasho, who's contract expires in a year... thats a lot of money off the books for them... Rasho will be a HOT comodity next year, just watch.

chicago would be getting a starting PG, and a starting C - for a 7th man off the bench and a guy who doesnt even play.
they know they will be starting from scratch next year, they arent going to try to give it a run with this same roster, they will be making big changes in the offseason, starting with letting gordon walk... they would definitely bite on this trade.
2 starters for 2 role players, its a no brainer for them IMO.
especially when they're definitely going to blow that ship up in the summer.

why does he not start if he's so damned worth us getting him then????

if he cant start on a shite team, why would a decent team need him?

Oh I know man.

I guess what I should've said was the Bulls are hanging their hat on Deng as the future of the franchise, so Nocioni takes a back seat to him and rightfully so.

I like Rasho though.
