haha .... Good ole' Dougie calling Carlos' performance last night one of the "best 3-for-12 night I ever saw."
![]() Anyhow, joking aside .... how nice it is to have a player like Delfino on this squad? Prior to the season beginning I knew he was going to be a decent addition, but he's definitely a difference maker on this team and love his versatility. ![]() Quote:

His pass to Kapono and the bouncer to Humphries were amazing! I predicited this guy in the discussion for most improved before the season started and i stand by that. He won't put up the big scoring numbers often...but he's so versatile. I love that Sam is using him this much.

Difference maker?
In the words of Napoleon Dynamite: heck yes! I absolutely love his game and how he mixes it all up. and seeing his court vision yesterday pretty much reinforces how we can definately ride out our current roster without having to make any bandaid solutions (NBDL pickups). I did think he shot a bit too much yesterday even though his shot wasn't falling, but still, how can you NOT like what he brings to the team? Delfino is teh awesome. |

Watching some of the classic games they've been airing. I was remembering when Butch would have TMac bring the ball up and initiate the offense. Delfino has the capability to set the offense, but also, I think, has way more playmaking abilities, and I think we're only scratching the surface here with his potential.
thinking about good this guy might get at the bargain basement price of two second round picks makes me giddy. |

Delfino is, like Garbo, smart player who is doing everything on the floor and doesn't complain about role or minutes... when his shots are falling he is that much better...

i love delfino.
he has quickly become one of my favorite raps. the guy plays HARD. he NEVER gives up on a play. he WANTS to be put there all the time and understands his role. he never complains and goes out there all business. he got benched on detroit, and he finally gets to show his stuff. he appreciates every minute of play time he gets and that is a main reason why he gives it his all. |

I think BC should get EOY again for that deal alone. Delfino is really filling in where Garbajosa left off, and then some. He's like Garbajosa and Parker in one package. He could make PJ Brown and Chuck Norris squeal like schoolgirls. OK - that's sounding sarcastic - but I can never take my eyes off the guy.

What's the deal with his contract situation anyways? I never really thought of it, but is he not a restricted free agent after this season? If so and he keeps up this type of play, it might be hard to keep him long term.

I have no idea why the ewok was out there with Delfino last game when they were using him that way. Why not just put Dixon on as a shooter and let DMart rot? |
