so if youor user name is is green you can attack the poster and not the post eh?

But I tell you to fuck off and its a different story.

If every player in the league with a little amount of potential is traded and continuously for player of a better calibre eventually no more trades will be done.

And in regards to davis specifically, he hasnt shown he is even worth a greg monroe much less a near allstar or allstar such as you said in your post. Yeah he has decent positioning in regards to his teamates who were absolutley pathetic defensively, and on offense he hasnt even shown he can consistanly hit an 8 foot jumper much less one from 18.

Davis has a LONG way to go and to think otherwise is a pure sign of homerism.

Heavens to murgatroyd. You have just blown my mind. You clearly have acquired a deeper sense of the game through your daily exploits in the trade thread. I bow down.

Davis has more than decent positioning. He has the muscle memory that allows him to be where he needs to be without synapses firing all the way up in his brain. He has very nice hands on offense, offers a nice target for passers, and finishes extremely well in traffic. But you need him to hit jumpers, as if that's what you're all about. He does have some ways to go. So does Jonas. But they both have a great base as bigs to have expanded upon. Why would any team decide not to try to capitalize on that? Let's say that at least they would need a player with the same instincts and potential, but at another position, as Carp suggested. Remember my point was about Davis fitting what Casey is looking for. But you think he would trade the kid away and be happy with the rest of what you term pathetic defensive players. That's lovely. I bow down.

I dunno.... if some of you guys would say no to Ellis then I really don't know who you're expecting to get that would be better. Would you rather keep Jose??

If we have the chance to add a legit 25/gm scorer (who's also one of the best ball hawks in the league) who's still in his prime how do you say no to that? Esp, when all you're giving up is a big man who's been less than stellar for you for 7 seasons.

Worst comes to worst, having Ellis gives you a player who you can give the ball to in late game situations.... AND it allows us the ability to play bigs who actually PLAY like legit bigs (rebounding, blocking, setting screens).

Sure, I'd love to have CP3 or Rondo running the point for our team, but that just isn't going to happen.

But there's a clear need for some community editors or something, like in wikipedia.
Consider this -- single paragraph. Ridiculous trade idea. No understanding about the two teams. A mistake on how many years Monta's deal got left. And he ends it by calling for a boost in Dorell Wright's minutes - the guy who was top 10 in the NBA last year in playing time.
That's one short paragraph. It's beyond awesome.
Man, want to buy some editors.

Agreed. I've just been worn down. I'm glad you haven't been.

Last time I'll reposnd to you, not once did I say Casey should trade him first off.

Its absolutely impossible for a body to move without synapsis firing in the brain, impossible.

he can catch the ball, but a pf that can do those things but not make a jumper from 15 feet is Reggie Evans.

fewer synapses then. And if you want to make him Reggie Evans there is no need for me to respond either.
