Starts around the 45min mark and they're mentioned for about 4 minutes. They also wouldn't be surprised to see DD moved.

Serious value at that 9 slot. And like that said, we could be one move away from being a next level team

Not saying that would be the deal for sure, but our best trade chip is Demar.

I think a package of DD/AJ + a pick could land us some really good pieces. But it would have to be a pretty amazing deal to move that.

If we trade demar, the raps are raking a step back. I don't see Ross being ready to take over his spot and I don't see a rookie being impactful especially at the 9th spot

I just don't see us winning the trade. While a 9 TH spot and Henderson does bring a lot to the table, including an upcoming pay check, I just don't think they can fill what demar has provided for this team.

I only want to trade demar for another star, developing new drafts picks and prospects isnt where this team is heading

Getting a 9th pick for Demar doesn't seem like enough value for me. That pick isn't high enough for me to guarantee success. I'd rather take my chances with Demar and hope someone like Ross develops. I'd want at least a top 5 pick. Henderson isn't good enough for me to care about.

There's a reason that would be offered by whoever has the 9th spot, and that's because Demar is an up and comer, and everyone knows it. I truly believe this draft will have at most three or four people who will end up better than Demar, and no, not all of them are in the top 5, or even lotto.

DeMar is also our best player. Give him up for a #9 pick? Fuck that. I wouldn't trade him unless its a top 3 pick. His value showed in the playoffs & he gets better every year. We spent years developing him into a great player just to throw him away for a shitty pick? horrible move.

If by asset you mean trade peace, than we should be talking about JV

and I don't mind Dermar trade talks one bit, but the homerism is annoying

Calm your nuts, he said something along the lines of such package, doesn't mean that specific one. All he was trying to say was don't be surprised if Masai offers DeRozan out to other teams.

Demar is, at best, our 3rd best asset. 2nd best player, but he is not cheap.

Aside from JV I think he's our second best asset. Agreed that Lowry is better than DD.

he sure as hell ain't expensive either. what do you want, lebron on a rookie contract? go support cleveland. they'll get one right eventually. your system is fullproof.

9.5mil/yr for an all-star SG is pretty good imo.

Personally I see JV more of an asset not because he's the better player of the two, rather it's quite obvious that he has a realistic potential to be that big that's hard to draft or trade for.

Demar, on the other hand, while he is one the best at what he does, can be easily replaced with the countless wings in the league.

That definitely not to negate anything from demar, that's just what it is
