ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Brenden Adams may be the only one in the world with a mysterious condition that has always made him stand out.

At just 4 months old, Adams had all of his teeth.

"In kindergarten, I was as tall as the fourth graders," Adams said.

And in the following years, Adams just kept growing and growing.

When he was 5, he was as tall as his older brother, who was more than twice his age.

In the last two-and-a-half years, Adams grew another 15 inches and now stands nearly 7 feet tall. He is only 12

Bring him in, cant be any worse than Bateer or Hoffa.

will have major mobility issues. may die early due to gigantism or some other such thing.

muresan redux at best...

of course i have no idea, but it's fun to speculate on the downfall of a 12 year old... no?

MikeToronto 08-19-2008 04:32 PM

Just look at his face on that photo. Either they wanted to convey the "freak" image, or he is seriously ill and I believe it's the latter. :(

Gigantism is usually caused by the problems with pituitary gland. People affected have major mobility and movement co-ordination issues and die relatively young due to the fact that their hearts and skeletal systems can't cope with an abnormal growth rate. He needs to be treated ASAP.

OK.

I thought that was it but when I looked around the website it seemed legit.

Kuzzy 08-21-2008 03:31 AM

not just any 7 footer can ball
its a sad story, nothing to discuss.

Major 08-21-2008 05:16 AM

Holy shit, 7 feet at 12 yrs old?

Pretty impressive but I gotta agree with Kuzzy. I think we overrate tall/big guys too much.

Gurk 08-21-2008 01:47 PM

But it says in the aricle that he can play basketball better than other kids there

That's because he's 7 feet at 12 years old, you see.

He's playing against kids that probably average about 5'3. So the 2 foot height advantage would help him out a bit.

Unless he's going to grow to be 9 feet, that won't translate to success against real basketball players.

:haha:

Dont most kids actually hit their big growth spurt at around 15 or 16?

Gurk 08-21-2008 07:37 PM

Wow if he still has to go through a growth spurt I will expect him to be atleast as tall if not taller than Yao Ming

Ugo Ferst 08-21-2008 07:41 PM

On a serious note, my best friend that works camera's and sometimes replays at the ACC is going to try to get Eli Porter's hit single "Im the best mang, i deed ettt" to be used during raptors games or after big plays, i would lmao x1000 if he does!!

dfunkie1 08-21-2008 08:42 PM

re:eli porter

I think you need to get a sense of humor and look in to facts before you talk.

1) Eli Porter went on a rap battle show... TO BE SEEN AND HEARD, i think he has some dope rhymes and a funny delivery, its great, i love Eli. He really did win that battle.

2) Eli Porter isnt mentally challenged. He is pretty much normal when he talks, he is funny, witty and charming in a slow way, but being a bit slow doesnt make you a charity case. Saying you shouldnt laugh at him is more bigoted, i laugh at corny white boys with crappy rhymes too, Eli is a funny kid, worldwide known now.

3) "he's da best main... he deed ettt"

4) No matter what rapper said this in a battle, its a crazy sick line

(the guy he is battling is very dark skinned so Eli says)
"look at this dude, he need to stay in the shade/it's no wonder he came out/ he already in the gay parade!!"

haha classic line, the fact that a somewhat slow kid making faces like he was possessed owned that idiot "envy" and the stupid ass judges on the show, make it the funniest 4min clip in youtube history!!

"imma tell you who da bess, by the hour/you look like Rosie O'Donnel, at a bisexual bridal shower!!!"

hahahahaha cant make up crap like that, hell i dont even know what it really means, but the delivery and his face, make it classic!!

GO ELI!!!

the guy clearly suffers from a disability

i'm not a doctor, but it looks like he had a seizure while he was up there as well

you find that funny, good on you. i find it hypocritical how you can point the finger at the spanish team, then turn around and mock this dude.

I find it funny you can judge Eli better then a doctor, he has a physical disability, not a mental one, what does it have to do with funny rhymes?
