Yes, they did suffer one major injury and a few minor injuries, but is plagued really the right word for their situation? They had their lowest points against average and their second best record in the last four years. Granted, they were allowing 99.2 PPG and had 43 wins, but improvement is improvement, no matter how small. So plagued, no, not how I see it. To me, those injuries (the Arenas one in particular) were a prime example of addition by subtraction, or at least they (it) would have been if they (it) were intended.
