F: Hedo Turkoglu, Raptors. Toronto has indeed improved from last season, but its $52 million man is frustrated, and has met with front-office personnel to discuss his confined role. His shooting percentages are up -- he's even surpassed 40 percent from the three-point line -- but his scoring average has dropped 3.7 points to 13.1. Too often for his tastes, he's told to go stand in the corner and wait for a pass, an approach that doesn't take advantage of his versatility

Good, this guy is not being used properly. If we pay him 10- mill a year we best find a way to get him more effective.

To say the dispointment with Turk is due to his lower offensive output is inaccurate.

Turk's offensive contribution is fine within the Team's offensive scheme which maximizes CB's consistent & outstanding play and more recently, AB's above expectation contributions.

To these eyes, Turk is a disappointment because of his conditioning (with no sign of improvement after nearly half a season), spotty (generally poor) defense, spotty effort, poor on the court body language & attitude, and more importantly, his inability (refusal to try?) to fit into the scheme which is best for the Team. The biggest fear is that his ego can turn into a cancer for the team in the remainder of the season.

It would be simple for Turk to be successsful and respected by his team mates and loved by the Raptor Fans - Just play hard consistently and give us effort to defend . If he can demosntrate these traits, he will gain the respects from his team mate, and be a leader for this team. If and when called upon for a critical shot, he would be loved by the Fans if he can stick it with consistency.
