Default SI: Bosh learned from the best

Many members of last summer's Redeem Team are thriving after their gold-medal success in the Beijing Olympics. LeBron James is, in many quarters, the MVP favorite. Dwyane Wade almost single-handedly is keeping a rebuilding Heat team around .500 with the best statistical season of his career. And Chris Paul is notching career highs in assists, shooting, rebounding and steals.

Perhaps no player, though, has used the Olympics as a springboard to this NBA season better than Chris Bosh, who opened by averaging 26.4 points (on 54 percent shooting) and 10.2 rebounds in November. Though he has cooled off in December amid the Raptors' struggles and coaching change (his season averages are 23.3 points and 10.0 rebounds), that eye-opening first month has helped put Bosh on the cusp of superstardom.

"I tried to take different things from everybody," Bosh said of his experience in China. "You had LeBron accepting a leadership role, and he was fairly vocal with it. Kobe Bryant, perhaps the best scorer in the league, made the sacrifice [to focus on] defense and was an inspiration in how much he worked on his technique and his game. And Carmelo Anthony, there's a reason he's such a good shooter -- he [practices] shooting countless numbers of times."

They do say weed stays in your system for up to a month after ingestion. Maybe December was Bosh's weed recovery month, and that why he stunk up the bitch.

He'll basically have to come out ballin' in January to prove me right.

Bosh can play well whenever he FEELS like it. Unfortunately, he realized early this season he can't be in the running for MVP on a losing team and thus decided not to try as hard as the games went on.

I've been really hard on Bosh lately but after watching him last night I see that he is still the player he was in November... and just needs to keep that confidence growing. He certainly didn't look hurt last night so i'm thinking the coaching change had a bigger impact on him than i thought previously... Sam was his mentor for the last 4 years, and his game has improved so much in that time. Maybe that was the biggest factor, and then the team losing just added to it. I guess we'll know over this road trip if he's found his balls again but as much as i've been frustrated of late i have never given up hope he's the guy we want leading this team.

Ok yeah Bosh played great yesterday, that is all well and good. But lets see how he plays against some quality teams before everyone starts praising him. He went off on a poor Clippers team when Camby was out and Randolph got hurt.

We were running through O'Neal in the clipper game and that's why Bosh eventually got into a groove (because of the presence JO had inside) They had to watch out for JO, and didn't always double Bosh. Any coach except our current and last coach knows this. Bosh is not a 1st tier player period, don't try to expect him to be the way we have the past 4 seasons.

I hated when he took those 3 3's. Granted 2 of them went in but one was an airball. IDC if they went in or not he shouldn't be taking them

That what i was just thinking!
Bosh isn't a 3pt shooter and since we're talking about those who aren't moon shouldn't be throwing those up too!

i can stand Bosh taking threes, but thats only if its in garbage time.
if its late in the fourth quarter and the team needs a big play, Bosh better take it hard to the rim.
