Would be a great back-up to Jose not to mention he could play a little SG at times too.

A: At the right price, I’m sure the Raptors, and likely a dozen or so other teams, would have interest in Felton. However, I’m not sure what that price is. I don’t see, however, how he fits in Charlotte and he may be one of those bargain free agents teams can pick up on the relative cheap this summer.

Felton still has what it takes to be a solid starting PG in this league.
he never developed into the fringe star he was pegged as becoming when he was drafted, but he is still solid.
he can put together great games, but is hampered by a bad shot and average speed.

i think he's going to garner alot of interest, and some sucker will overpay him.

I expect he's going to get some coin
aren't AP and Delfino capabile of playing the point and BC has stated that he'd like to have them both next season
can also acquire a PG late in the 1st round

i think his speed is overrated.
i saw him get absolutely torched by Harris last year.

he seems to always be hobbled by an injury.... that makes him average IMO.

To be fair, Devin Harris is fast to the point of other worldliness. Felton is definitely very injury prone though.

He's been starting for his whole career and first, I don't think he'll be happy playing a backup role and second, I think he'll command too much money to be worth keeping him as a backup.

If we're keeping Calderon then i'd say no.
Dont' tie up too much money in that position again. Roko will become solid and we have Banks and maybe AP/Delfino to help in the meantime.

I'd rather have a guy that would work better getting more time at the 2. I'd do anything to get Delonte. Well, not anything, and I doubt he's going anywhere. But just to marvel at his ugliness alone would be a wonder. He can bring this toughness thing we are hearing so much about. He can defend the perimeter nicely. He plays within himself. He has experience with a winner. He's got pretty good size and durability. He can play extended minutes at the point in a heartbeat. And he's got tats creeeping up to his face, which could only be improved upon by the worst demarkations. Maybe I would do anything to get Delonte - but anyway - Felton doesn't measure up on a lot of those accounts, so it's hard for me to be all that interested.

I don't think Felton comes here as a backup. He wasn't too happy when the Cats selected DJ Augustine last year in the draft. If anything, I think he goes to Dallas to replace J-Kidd. I know there were some rumours about him going to Dallas at the trade deadline.

felton will not accept a backup position and will command more than just MLE, so there's no way we can get him (neither should we try) . Can't spend too much at that position.

Yah who didn't get tourched by Harris this year? He looks very much like Tony Parker did that year he almost lead the league in points in the paint.
