![]() I commend the guy for fighting though the injuries, but it is only time before the hammy flares up again to force him out of the line up again? I hope he isn't pushing it again because in order for us to make a move in the East we most certainly need him. I just don't want to see him to more damage to it.

![]() given that it's a ham injury, there's not that much risk in reaggravating it. Worse case scenario, we have to shut him down for the season, and the season is done. But if we don't win 8-10 of the next 15 games, we're screwed anyway. If it was a knee injury, or something more serious, I would prefer if he sits.

![]() feul for excuses? Yes JAckson, thts what they are wasting thier time with, they are spending long hours at night, trying to find ways to m,akes excuses do the message board giants will be appeased.
As for, "its only a hamstring". Wow. So torn Hammy out 5-6 months. Sprained knee, out 6 weeks. Ya man, it's no biggie, git on out there and play. hmmm If it were up to me, the guy would be on the bench until he was 100%, thats it, no questions. They cannot afford to create a chronic injury situation for this guy, it's silly to do so. |

![]() Here's what I want to know. Can the guy do something in terms of training that would make these kinds of injuries a lot less probable in the future. Should we be happy if all we hear is that he gets plenty of rest? I want to see a long career of games like the last one, and I want to see him fearless in games featuring much better opposing teams. Can he simply put the required work in and make that happen? Or is a hammy just about good or bad fortune or what you were born with?

![]() I let the man decide for himself at this point, if he gets hurt the season is over, if he doesnt play the season is over, if he wants to play and theres not a high risk of longterm damage (and there isnt), why not?

![]() Let him play I mean this was a conversation to have the first time around before he re-injured it. At this point if he goes out again who cares it just allows the Raptors to gracefully(Somewhat) bow out of people thinking they can make the playoffs and they get a high quality draft pick. It also allows Colangelo to re-tool at the deadline and set the table for next season with no worries of people thinking this team can make it.
If he remains healthy and Raps can make some kind of miracle run you can continue to market Jose as this team first guy that is something just shy of a saint. I don't see what you gain by sitting him. |
