Shhhh!! We are dating a fat girl

being a fan of the Raptors is like dating a fat girl,
she does what every other girl does behind closed doors, but when you take her out to the club ...
You tell yourself that she looks hot with nice big boobs and great legs in heels, you accept the big belly and the double chin, but you just can't ignore her big fat ass!

Her parts look great compared to other fat girls, but against a real hotty she just looks fat.

The current make up of the team is constrained and albatrossed by the salary cap and the massive contract of doom.
The roster is only 13 guys because they can't afford any one else, except maybe you and I at $500 per year ... each!
Management at its best.

A creative way of complaining about this team .... I like it. :giggle:

Barracuda 11-13-2008 10:06 AM

Well... much like the Raps, fat girls need love too!!!

Windex 11-13-2008 10:15 AM

maybe she (The team) should start running

Good point ..... maybe its just me, but conditioning seems to currently be a concern for this team right now. We're usually strong or decent for 2 to 3 quarters but then looked gassed and tired as all hell come 4th quarters. :frustrated:

As a self proclaimed, life long chubby chaser, I don't see what's wrong with a "fat" girl.
In fact, i think your statements are somewhat mean.

In terms of managment, and quite frankly, there's a reason why you're paying to watch these guys play and not management.

I knew you'd take offense to the fat girl remarks. I would of called them "portly" and not "fat" myself. :hahaha:

Every one is sensitive with words, maybe we should call fat people 'thin impaired' or 'weight efficient'

Whatever you want to term it, it's still offensive. Why can't you just refer to them as just 'women'? Because that's exactly what they are. They don't need the connotation/stigma attached to it.

Its like saying GM and Toyota are the same thing, they're not
Giants and Lions, I don't think so
Lakers and Raptors

That's the point. People use words to differentiate. I agree we shouldn't use offensive terms but some of us don't think things thru or their not just as offended.

It's a little light humour Hoops .... christ, I'm fat myself and I could care less what people say about me. :D

Anyhow, if your that offended please let me know and I'll remove this discussion. :)

Hoops on fire today.:police:

Barracuda 11-13-2008 10:42 AM

My larger chick friends tend to call themsevles "bigger girls".

But they don't see harm in calling me "skinny".

What's offensive?

So really, everything depends on the person. But I like the respect that Mango's got.

Acie 11-13-2008 10:45 AM

I'll tell you something funny.

Why is it acceptable for an overweight person to say in a not so nice disgusted way, "Oh my gosh you're so skinny. You need to eat something" but if I said, "Hey, fatty mcbutterpants lay of the little debbie's and big macs" I'm a jerk?

*edit* Oops didn't see your's first. I think we're kind of saying the same thing.

Its called a double standard and the fat person can eat you.

It's not the same thing as sports teams, friend. Take a step back and think about that one for a second.

If someone calls the professional football team in Detroit.. actually, I'll step back from that one because Detroit doesn't really have a football team.

If someone calls the football team in New York "the Giants", there's no offense to that. If you were to call Brandon Jacobs a "New York Giant" to his face, I'm sure he wouldn't be upset.

On the flipside, if you go up to a girl and call her "fat", see what happens. It hurts.

I'm not trying to be the censor police, shit, that's the last thing I want to do, but I'm just asking guys to be just a little bit tactful, because whatever you do here, a message board, can easily spill over into a conversation/situation in real life.

Damn right.

I get flack all the time. Cuz I DO eat BigMacs and fatty crap like crazy and so some of my friends get pissed. I'm hippy for a thin chick, but they bug me like I'm 20 lbs.

Yet, I do not say "Put down the cupcake, bitch!" cuz thin people aren't allowed.

Double standard, yes. Can't we all just love each other? :sigh:
