As it stands right now Lowry is one of four players in the entire league who are avging 18/5/5. (or very, very close)

They are as follows... (pts/rebs/assts)

Kobe Bryant: 28.0/5.3/4.9 (49%FG, 37%3P, 87%FT) 19FGAs/gm

Lebron James: 24.8/9.1/6.8 (53%FG, 42%3P, 68%FT) 19FGAs/gm

Russell Westbrook: 20.9/4.9/8.7 (42%FG, 34%3P, 77%FT) 18 FGAs/gm

Kyle Lowry: 18.3/5.7/6.0 (43%FG, 39%3P, 83%FT) 13 FGAs/gm

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

it seems like lowry is a pretty great young player, yet the team appears to be remarkably worse this season than last. especially defensively, which is particularly weird given that lowry has replaced jose.

The east has gotten better is factor a, we had a very tough opening schedule factor b and factor c with every game having been so close, can you really say were as bad? Last year we were blown out more frequently...

No SF depth at all, Rookie starting at Center, Bargnani sucks, Calderon not consistent off the bench, injuries, awful schedule. There's the season right there. A couple of those things are a little better and we're a 7-12 team and there isn't as much panic.

imagine this team with lowry, improved Derozan, val (who is miles better than gray) a defence oriented system in place by a so called defensive coach, and a Bargnani similar to the 13 game bargnani? with that defensive system, what we have with us now, and last year's pre injury Bargnani I think we'd be a winning team or at least .500.

fuck

WAKE UP bargnani, go apeshit next game
