yeah, that was so obvious, he was just about to pull that 3 and I bet that's why Casey called the timeout.

In other words, strangely, his flaws are just what the doctor ordered imo.

Yep. Looks like D-League talent to me.
nobody called him that, or close and few will dispute any of the qualities you listed there. That's why he's considered a borderline top 10 PG and potential all-star.

Just because he's great at some things, doesn't mean he doesn't have faults, and those faults should be corrected, especially the ones that only require some discipline.

He needs to create more shots for us, we don't have anybody that can do it and, like Thriller pointed out, casey is averse to P&R which could be a great weapon. I like Bargnani on the block against smaller PFs and Demar has an advantage when not facing a good wing stopper. But Lowry, he could create against almost anybody, and he should be our primary shot creator.

What's wrong with having a PG as your main shooter? If Lowry is going to go out and score like he did last night, why the need to create more shots? Let him average 20/5. Nothing wrong with that.

Isn't that where the coach comes in? Planning the offense and calling plays?

And what's the point of Lowry penetrating and dishing if our wings can't hit outside shots??

Make no mistake... Lowry isn't perfect. He's never GOING to be perfect. Players make mistakes at times.

Kobe does.

Lebron does.

Durant does.

But he still brings MANY more positives to the floor than he does negatives and some people are just being ridiculous right now with their criticisms.

Reminds me a lot of the Bosh-bashing that I had to read back in the day that was absolutely stupid (considering what he gave us on a nightly basis).

It is why he called it. He was giving him a chance to do something productive...waiting.

I like Lowry - he does all the good things people are saying he does and he competes; but he definitely forces the issue down the stretch and believes he's the one who needs to make the play. He doesn't have the tools to be an Iverson/Lebron/Kobe/Durant but he could be Chauncy. Let the other guys get the attention down the stretch and just be ready to make the big shot when it comes to you.

I completely agree. One thing Chauncey had and depended on though, was a lot of detail from the coach. I think here Lowry is asked to fill in a lot of the detail himself, and there's just so little chemistry as of yet to boot.

God you're frustating in the way you spin crap.

This team can shoot well enough, but we don't score in the paint if nobody drives or picks and rolls.

No. No. No. Its not one mistake. Its a number of them.

His shot selection, inability/lack of desire to dish are the difference bewteen winning and losing. Bargnani brings positives but sometimes the negatives can be overwhelming. The difference is you can't teach Bargnani how to defend or rebound overnight, but this should be an easy fucking fix and he's not fixing it.

Lowry is a good player. Tunnel vision at times, yes. Gotta take the good with the bad.

We knew what he was when we got him. All heart, plays his ass off, makes questionable plays at times but he plays all out and goes Ham.

The last two games:

Lowry 23FTA

Rest of the team 24FTA

That's exactly it. When times get tough he KNOWS that he can get his shot at any time and get to the line.... and he's not afraid to call his own number.

Until we get another guy here who can do the same thing I'd expect to see a lot more of this.

Full credit to him for at least trying to get people involved in the 1st half and keep them somewhat involved in the 2nd.
