Default Same Situation as Last Year?

f you guys date back last year when TJ and Jose couldn't play together, do you think that the same case is growing now with Bosh and Bargnani? I kinda see it. Both players capable of scoring 20+ on any given night and although Bosh is our star, Bargs has really been assertive with the ball lately. Do you guys see the same thing happening and what should we do to solve this problem? A trade perhaps?

I seriosuly don't know what to do. I would trade Bosh to help Bargs get more touches but then I think, what if Bargs is only scoring all those points because Bosh is on the floor and gets some attention and what if Bargs was the go to guy, would he still be able to score 20 points a game with all the attention now on him

Yeah, this is not as clear as last year when we wanted Jose. I think the Raps should ride it out and if Bargs keeps doing what he's doing I think Bosh will get frustrated. Plus; we cant have two softies in the front court.

Bargs has all the touches he needs. He turns down a ton of touches, and that's when he's got a hot hand.

No... TJ and Jose could play together greatly when they wanted to and it's now been revealed they were stronger together than on their own. It was just an ego starter's thing that broke that pair up.

Bosh and Bargnani have no issue playing with each other in terms of touches and who's the man presence, they just don't fit in terms of a team's needs and the way to win games... having someone who can guard the interior and score in the post is imperitive, two soft jumpshooting bigs is not. This is more like Bosh/Charlie V.

the difference here is they don't play the exact same position
so in this case they can both be on the floor at the same time, TJ/Jose was a lot because they both played PG and had to share the minutes
the problem here is more about touches than minutes

I think they can co-exist depending on the other players on the team. If Toronto were to ever land a dependable guard who could create his own shot, then obviously the team would be that much better.... but how do you get someone like that? through the draft/ free agency (not likely) / or through a trade?

the way the team is built right now, you would kind of have to trade one of them just to balance out the roster.

if Bargnani develops a more effective post game, they are a PERFECT match. Right now Andreea can't get enough possesions under the basket, because he's still not strong/skilled enough. But if he improves that just a little, they will be impossible to cover as a pair. And if we ever get a true slasher, you will truly get to appreciate the value of 2 bigs who can stretch the defense and make it easier to get to the basket.
