Default Same script,Different Game!!

Or as the everyday working person likes to say, same sh!t different day. This is the case when watching our beloved Toronto Raptors. They're becoming so ridiculously predictable that it's almost pointless to watch.

" Oh (Raptor Player) is hot not tonight,we'll see about that". If they're a reserve player they get sent back to the bench,if they're a starter the team plays keep away. Tonight (vs the Lakers) it was Demar DeRozan's turn(anybody who watched late in the 4th and OT should know what I'm talking about).

"Jonas,we don't give a damn how well you play through 3 quarters, you are NOT seeing a minute in the 4th and beyond"

"will the real Kyle Lowry(the one from the first month of the season) PLEASE STAND UP!(he had a decent game but still)"

"Alan (Super Hero) Anderson, you must guide us to the promise land(and I like him for the most part but he's playing way out of pocket, the man has no leash)"

"Has anybody seen Terrence " Milk Carton" Ross?

"So we lost again,it's that damn Bargnani 2 points and 2 rebounds, sheesh!"

We can go on but it's becoming a joke,I want to be optimistic about 2013-2014's season but If the roster remains similar and there isn't a significant change in their game planning, perhaps even personnel(player's and management) there's no reason to think this team can be a playoff team next season. Only hope would be to see Valanciunas and DeRozan develop quicker because they're the best on the team(just in my opinion of course).

The honeymoon is over for Rudy Gay,still love the trade but he said he never had the chance to live up to his big contract, well now he does. Gonna have to do more then throw up 20+ shots each night sinking only in the single digits.

It's an open thread, just needed to rant a bit...frustrating watching the Raps lose a game they should've won. The lakers played terrible and had no business being in it late. Not overreacting either but i'm sure many other's see the same thing's/problems i'm seeing, how do we accept this regime/tandem of Casey/Colangelo going forward?

Mods feel free to lock if necessary, just needed to vent

I have to admit, with the way Jonas is riding the bench in the 4th (no matter how well he plays in the rest of the game), it does seem like Casey is playing favourites with Anderson and has Jonas in his doghouse. Did he look at Casey's wife funny or something? Jonas was killing it last night (only the refs could stop him). I kept thinking that Casey was saving him because he had 4 fouls, but he saved him right through the entire 4th quarter and OT. Absolutely abysmal personnel management beyond the 3rd quarter.

Casey was saving Jonas for the 2nd overtime. Not Casey's fault that the players failed to get there, it was a good plan. Come in with a fresh Jonas at 55 minute mark and destroy the Lakers.

Definitely not. I don't know what to blame the loss on,it was more that one thing. Kobe is spectacular, have to foul.....he can make any difficult shot

I think Jonas could've really helped down the stretch,I don't think there's any harm in throwing him out there and learning how to perform under pressure through experience. I understand the concept of tough love but it just seems like it's hurting the team. Anyway,Casey is gonna coach however he wants I accept that(don't think he's a horrible coach) but it would be good to know exactly why he doesn't want to play Jonas at critical moments lately(if he hasn't already been asked).
