Default Sam Smith: Don't Be Surprised To See Iavaroni End Up In Toronto

Hmmm ... first the Messina rumour and now the Iavaroni one. Poor Jay ... seems like the writing's on the wall for Triano.

What's with the Italian origins? Messina and D'Antoni are Italian, Mark Iavaroni and Triano should have Italian origins too just like Colengelo. Is BC discriminating?

Messina?

Does he have time to coach? I hear he and Kenny Loggins are back out on the road together.

Macaroni?

He was the defensive specialist for the Suns. 'Nuff said.

the only difference between sam smith and the speculators on this board is that he gets paid handsomely for it. this guy has never been right about anything. his whol act is like casting a long line into a dried up lake.

A Euro coach or a failed ex-Grizzles coach? I think we have better options out there then this. I also share Doc's view that it is unfortunate for Jay Triano. I was pulling for him as a fellow Canadian.

For all the talk going on it's still early.

If the Raps finish the season strong and Jay proves that he can win with a healthy roster then I think it'll be difficult for BC to discount that.... not to mention the fact that there IS the possibility that Bosh may not be crazy with going with a brand new coach in his contract year.

Hahahaha, this guy wont be coaching our team next year thats for shure. BC knows that now there cant be any more fucking around or hes outa here once his contract is up. That Ivaroni guy looks like as good of a coach as Sam......no wait, he looks worse

YEAR TEAM WINS LOSSES PCT
2007-08 Memphis 22 60 .268
2008-09 Memphis 11 30 .268
TOTALS 33 90 .268

Ya having a 26% winning ratio sounds like he should be the New Head coach here for sure. We will definealty win a championship with this loser

Isnt this guy supposedly a "BC guy", Italian on top of that (well, thats not rare for BC guys), i dont see how it isnt a possibility. Also, go compare the rosters of the teams, and the conferences, Memphis has had it rough and made the weirdest trade ive seen in awhile last year, gift wrapped the West for LA

sensitivity training for everybody, somebody clean up this heart before it bleeds on all of us!!!

Nobody said anything negative about him being Italian, that it was better or worse, just if you go on BCs past coaching choices, he seems to pick alot of Italians for high ranking jobs in the organization. You deny this?

Macaroni rhymes with Iavaroni.

There's nothing more to it than that.

Relax.

euro this, euro that,"macaroni." "i knew once the vowel hit the end of his name, he would be rumored to be coming here..."wtf?

....all the racist euro/white comments thrown at bargs, the slanderous comments thrown at gherdini and bc....gimme a fucking break....edit - no reason to insult other posters
