do you really think he had a better defensive game last night? Because I honestly feel he sucked just as bad as in the previous. Except for a few boards he got towards the end of the first half, he didn't do much other than some passable D on Garnett (but that's his only constant on D, one-on-one defense).

But his offense was as great - and hollinger's blog today on espn has some great points. But then again, nothing he did last night is unexpectable, we all know he can do this, he's done it last season. He played like a PF, and to his credit Jose pick and rolled almost exclusively with Andreea, and not with Chris. And that's why last game made me even more convinced that we cannot play efficiently both players - it's either Chris or Andreea at PF. None of the two is willing/capable of playing center on offense (Chris might be able against some teams) - so I'm not sure what will happen. The only reason Andreea exploded last night was because Chris had to stay on the bench almost the entire half ...

I think Andrea made STRIDES in playing defense last night. Did he make mistakes? yes. But look at how he played KG last season and for portions of last night. He didn't leave his feet as quickly and communicated much better.

I think the basis of being a very good defensive player are there and if anything it shows that he's been paying attention and working hard at it. Possibly too hard even.

But he always played decent man to man defense - even when he wasn't doing anything else ...
