Rumored trade with GS?

This was posted up on RealGM raptors board with a link to come soon but if this were to happen i'd be shocked:

Joey Graham (2.5Mil)

for

Belinelli (1.4Mil)
Marcus Williams (1.2Mil)

When i get the link i'll post it.
If this is credible i believe it's part of a bigger deal.

That's someone's wet dream for the day. No way GSW gives up Belinelli and Williams..for Graham of all people...no freakin way.

Dr. J. Naismith 11-28-2008 12:25 PM

For Graham? :sigh:

Don't see that happening. :face4:

Snooch 11-28-2008 12:27 PM

Why not, he'd be a power forward there and allow for Maghette and Jackson to play the wings and Crawford on the point, I could see it working....

I agree completely, but i wanna see if there's a link and where this is coming from. I do know BC always liked Williams and wants Belinelli. If he gets them,it'll be for more then Joey.

Its sound good to me , Williams can be the solid back up PG we need. He played pretty well in NJ but he gets 6 minutes a game in GS.

Belinelli and Williams are third stringers on the Warriors, Im pretty sure they won't be sad if they leave

MangoKidHoops 11-28-2008 12:29 PM

You know how many teams want Belinelli? The W's aren't just gonna trade him for a sack of shit. That's a pipe dream, brother. I don't think the W's are gonna use 6 foot 5 Joey Graham at Powerforward. This isn't the NCAA.

Up until his 17 point performance the other night, Joey hasn't done squat. Same could be said for Williams and Belini, but two potentials for one potential? Doesn't make sense. :confused2:

The more you think about it, it makes some sense! For some reason neither player is playing in GS and Joey's contract expires after next season and the salaries match. But i think BC would also have to give them a draft pick on top of Joey.

MangoKidHoops 11-28-2008 12:30 PM

You people think that just because someone has a player burried on the bench, that we can trade garbage players for them. Doesn't work that way (at least 99 percent of the time). Organizations aren't charities - they can't just give their players away. It's like an auction - it goes to the highest bidder.

I think that the only way this happens is if it's part of a bigger deal.

Ex2k 11-28-2008 12:32 PM

Maybe they see potential in Joey Graham and think the raptors just arent playing him enough... Just like we think Belinelli has more potential here.

Joey is a former 1st round draft pick... :sigh:

DVS 11-28-2008 12:33 PM

Graham has one good game and Real GM (Or "Real BS" at times) think the Raptors could get Bellini and Williams for him.

LOL just post this crap on a Gstate message board and I'm sure they would all laugh at you

Boshinator_ 11-28-2008 12:33 PM

I won't even scruple when taking this deal. Just need Graham to put up a string of good games and maybe it'll happen.

Roko would be involved likely or Solomon would likely have to be waived. I can't see this team playing with 4 PG's on the roster if we're supposedly getting Marcus such a deal. :confused2:

TORaptor4Ever 11-28-2008 12:33 PM

WHA????

I would piss myself if we got EITHER of those players. I remember how disappointed I was when NJ scooped Marcus right before us... I'd LOVE if he could come here as a backup. I can't see that deal happening for just Graham though.... but I'd throw in Kaps, AP, Moon or whoever they wanted in order to make it happen lol.

Joey is 6-7 225lbs,

Corey is 6-6 218 and they have used him as a power forward.

Could you imagine if Joey had a 30 point performance? They'd be talking Graham for Brandon Roy for christ sakes. :giggle:

If you could define "BUST" in this league, the definition would most certainly be Joey Graham. :cwm34:

Joey isn't 6'7". He's 6'4"-6'5". Just like how people say TJ Ford is 6 feet - ha ha.

They probably use Maggette in small spurts as a 4 when they go small, but it's not like a situation where they constantly use him at the 4.
