Rumor: Bosh/Parker for Amare/Barbosa ??

I don't know how credible this sight is but, i would probably do this . The rumor is that BC is considering trading Bosh/Parker to Suns for Stoudamire/Barbosa. And then also get the Marion/Banks deal done. In effect, bringing back a modified version of Pheonix to Toronto.

http://www.betus.com/sports-betting/...-trade-rumors/

Jose
Barbosa
Marion
Bargs
Amare

Hmmmmmmmmmm! Probably bullshit, but i dare to dream.

I hate this trade. I'd rather keep Bosh, a young up and coming player than get Amare. If I were to trade Bosh I'd trade him for young prospects and draft picks

In other words, for an inexperienced player that may or may not pan out, and draft picks, with our pick history? Fuck that!

Jesus.

Unless you hear it from either a team rep, or a guy who covers the team on a beat, its BS.

The internet is ridiculous for trade rumours.

lol! I think i'd do it as well. Can you invision doing this and then in the offseason signing AP/Delfino back? We would need to probably sign another big. Possibly after letting Jawai/Voskhul go? I have a feeling neither will be back next season.

Jose/Banks/Ukic
Barbosa/AP/Delfino
Marion/Graham/Kapono
Bargs/Hump
Amare/Bargs/Voskhul/Jawai?

Kind of a lateral move. I'd do it as long as Amare's knees look like they'll hold up for the future.

It definitely gives us a powerful team offensively. How about defense though?

We are already powerful offensively... and have been for a couple years. Amare is very much a more muscular Bosh imo.

Because he is just a more muscular Bosh, except it's not known whether he could score as much in our system compared to PHX and the looks he gets there + he is way more injury prone + Bosh > Amare, besides that, yea, do the deal :P

Seriously if Bosh gets hate from Raptor nation Amare wouldn't last the year before isome crazy fan runs on the court and pops him. At least Bosh is sort of a leader and is a good rebounder. Amare is a baby selfish bitch, he plays like the worst defence at his position in the league, he's even worse when the game is on the line. Amare is the most overrated 'star' in the NBA

Amare had knee problems in 05-06 season, but since then has been more durable then Bosh.
