FML! now I feel bad for wanting to tank! I trust that MU will do what is best for this team, we need to trust him and support whatever path he'll take. Patience will be very important either way.

Don't feel to bad. The guy will make about 35 million dollars over the next two years.

Talented SF that seems to want to be here. It would suck balls if we traded him.

too hard to get FA with talent, so please don't trade him for scrubs and a prospect.

Only if we get a first rounder from a REALLY bad team. And maybe a decent prospect too.

I really want to see a 3pt shooter at SG, deal Derozan

Lowry
3PT shooter
Gay
Amir
Valanciunas

I would love to see this for a season.Maybe even start Ross at SG and see what he can do next to Gay + Lowry.

the lack of a g or apostrophe at the end of "Lookin" certainly indicates that they will be tankin

tanking is unfair to the players. Nobody wants to lose and none of these guys here want to be in a losing environment (well probably excluding Bargnani as he is still technically a raptor). The truth is these players deserve a shot to see what they can do with a full season and a full training camp. Especially dudes like Demar and amir. they've been here through nothing but shitty times. failed rebuilds, and pathetic attempts to compete. Well now the roster doesn't look half bad all things considered. From their point of view, it's really unfair to tear it down at this point.

Obviously i know the benefits of tanking and moving forward it may lead to brighter pastures. I get it and i am not against tanking, i am merely pointing out the other side to the story.

Agreed. Every time someone mentions rebuild I think of DeMar and Amir. You can tell they're dying to have Toronto become a winner, and to go with a whole new rebuild would be exhausting for them. You can keep saying who cares, they're getting paid the big bucks, but you can see from those guys, that they're really competitive and they feel like they're already done going through the rebuilding pains.

Obviously Demar wants to stay and he says he's been working specifically on his long range shooting....even shooting from beyond the three so it feels more like a mid-range. If he adds that to his arsenal, all that will be left to make him one of the elite SGs is defense. But will he even start the year here for us to find out?

Maybe see how the season goes with the current starting 5 before the trade deadline and assess if these highschool "superstars" are still worth an overhaul.

I think that the back injury really hindered his play. He looked a lot better right at the end of the season when his back was better.

good. we're not getting wiggins even if we try to tank. too many other teams are waaay worse than we'd be even w/o gay.
