Trading up to nab a PG prospect that could be ready to contribute right away indicates that there may be more going on here behind the scenes. also orange pie would be disgusting.
What are you talking about? The apple is the idea of trading up. The orange is thinking Ennis might be a good PG, Masai never said the trade up would be for Ennis, and he wouldn't tip his hand even if that was what he was thinking because he would lose any leverage in trade negotiations to move up. It has nothing to do with them both being PG's. Sheesh.

Market attractiveness for GV doesn't depend on what Lowry signs for.

If some team wants to go after GV badly, they'll go after him. But the leverage is still with the Raptors.

I never said it did.

I'm saying that once Lowry is off the market GV becomes a pretty good option for those teams needing a PG. Which might raise the price for him. For instance, if someone offers him 6mil/yr I highly doubt we match that if we sign Lowry for 11-12mil.

GV has to be looked at in relation to other backup PG's on the market- Shaun Livingston for one- and I'm sure there will be others. Having 2 good PG's is a must the way the game is played today. No reason we cant have KL and GV and still draft a PG for the third, and if the draftee shows he's got game, nothing to stop Masai from moving GV for other assets at the trade deadline or next off-season.

Whoa, it's not like you tried it.

Tried lemon meringue pie?
Tried key lime pie?
Well orange graham pie is made with a chocolate graham crust. Just substitute the oranges for the lemons/limes..
