So I guess no Vasquez. Unless he wants Ennis as a third stringer for now? Which I don't see the point up trading up for. Not signing Vasquez would free up some cap space but trading up would require giving up an asset. We don't have anything we would be willing to part with simply for Ennis, do we?

This whole targeting Canadians is stupid. I'd try to get vasques back before drafting anyone. He's a capable starter who saved our asses so many times in the regular season

I'd be happy to trade up at the draft with SAC or CHAR , if Vonleh was available to be taken.

We're not getting Wiggins in a draft day trade. Teams just sacrificed entire seasons at the chance to get him and players like him. It would take too many assets to get him, and 1-2 bad contracts coming this way.

<dreaming> Au contraire, all it would take is him refusing to report to any team but the Raps, citing imperial system of measurements and concerns about the quality of education of his future children!. </dreaming>

the fact that masai is apparently willing to do whatever it takes to move up to draft ennis tells me that he's not 100% confident that lowry will re-sign here and wants a back up if it turns out lowry is asking for franchise player type cash. Or, that vasquez is gone. i don't like that either way, as the two of them on the court at the same time were finally a 2PG lineup that worked well in terms of ball movement and spacing.

I think if we sign Lowry, Vasquez is a question mark

Whoa, you're putting apples and oranges together in the same pie.

Masai said he would like to trade up in the draft. Masai said he likes Ennis. He never said the first was aimed at doing the second. They are 2 different and separate things.

since when are point guards apples and oranges? they're all apples or they're all oranges. unless casey envisions a three PG lineup then my original comment holds true. If you're a GM and both of your PGS are free agents, and your starter is UNRESTRICTED then unless there's an assurance both are resigning... Trading up to nab a PG prospect that could be ready to contribute right away indicates that there may be more going on here behind the scenes. also orange pie would be disgusting.

If we sign Lowry to say 12mil/yr.........GV becomes more attractive on the market imo after how he played the last two months of the season + playoffs. I think only one of them will be back and we might look to get Ennis as our backup.

I have high hopes for De Colo as the bench SG next year. Sometimes this year he looked like the most intense/energetic guy on the floor.
