if anyone would have watched a few ncaa games they would have known how good this guy was. I can't believe he dropped so low for toronto to get him and I cant believe we traded him

We only drafted him because the Pacers requested we do so...

It's more like Howard is over-rated, and got into foul trouble. But Hibbert did look pretty good, and in pretty nice shape. It was a sad game though.

Don't worry, they'll be ready for Raps tomorrow or money back guaranteed!

Yup, I've always liked Hibbert. He can develop into a very good center in the league. Hilton Armstrong, too, can be a defensive stopper in the post.

Having said that, I wish Hibbert went 2-18 and scored 5 points, letting D12 shit all over him. Now the Magic are coming into tomorrow's game with 'something to prove,' a revenge game, kinda like our effort against the Spurs. Plus, VC is no longer the leading scorer, so he might want to show the Raps what they have been missing. Only thing going for us is the two days' break that we had. But to be honest, I think we pretty much have no chance now. I hope I'm proven wrong tomorrow.

He's really slimmed down, you can tell my just by looking at his neck and face in the picture on the front page of NBA.com

I dunno if it's just me but he doesn't look all that good, looks like he's gonna end up with knee problems and than will never reach his potential

he's missing hedo. VC is hurting his team because he takes them out of the game, I dont know if it's because of Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee, or Hedo, but the Magic don't look as strong this year.

i really liked hibbert as a college player. he was a steal. should have been lottery.

if we didn't trade the pick i think we would have gone for mcgee — just a feeling i have. the kid is amazingly long and athletic. he has to have one of the highest reaches i've ever seen and can get up very quickly. he'd be a very good compliment. so would hibbert, though. very big, strong, smart, hard working, has improved dramatically. he was the better player when he faced off against oden back in school.

pisses me off that we gave up our starting pointguard, starting center, and a really good first round pick only to turn around and give up yet another first rounder.

Yeah that's what I thought too. A diffferent guy altogether from the one that was drafted.

D12 relies too much on his quickness and athleticism. He will be done when he's 32. Just be patient.

Hibbert had the game of his life last night. He's looking much better recently but it's still way too early to be saying that we missed out on an all-star. And even so.... it's not like this guy was tearing it up in College like Boozer...

Thing just happen sometimes. Good for the Pacers. They need SOME luck this season.

A starting point guard that has lost his third straight starting role... remember in Milwaukee too... also has no trade value... Our starting center of Rasho? Think outside the box a little... and a project big man that has panned out... I'd say it wasn't that bad of a trade... considering it afforded us flexibility to improve the team....

it basically ended up as tj and a couple of mid first round picks for hedo, antoine wright, belli, and the flexibility to sign jarret jack. not bad if you ask me.
