Well now, I wonder, how many of you guys have had to tryout for a real team?
I know there's a few of you, so if you could help me out with this one I'd be happy. Derozan comes in with an equal chance. If the kid can play, and produce, and he can make his place on the talent chart above the other SG's, he'll get his PT. If not, he won't. There isn't a process, nothing is in stone. All players are different and are capable of different things. Judging from how BC just made Parker and Delphino expendable, my guess is that they saw something in the draft workouts, and in Derozans second half NCAA tapes that they liked. |

The kid was the 9th pick in a supposedly weak draft. The guy is raw as all hell and will likely be a bit of a project. I'm just hoping he doesn't look completely lost when on the court at the beginning of the year and improves drastically enough to be have earned a starters role later on.
But I won't be holding my breath that he'll be able to do it. |
