He'll be OK for 10-15 minutes a night. But if Calderon gets into injury problems the Raps are in trouble.

I hope that doesn't happen
As long as he can play good and can contribute with Jose on the bench, I will be happy

if Calderon goes down for a long period we're screwed, but let's face it ... most teams who have a great starting pg are facing the same risk. Utah, NO, Phoenix, Dallas, probably even Detroit or SA would be significantly worse (NOK and Phoenix would most definitely miss the playoffs without theirs). Luckily, Jose doesn't have a history and he's playing a relatively safe style. So the odds are on our side.

I don't think Detriot as much because of Stuckey. He is a good PG and will start for the Pistons soon

8 PPG and 4 APG off the bench.

So that is a pretty good stat for a bench player

he is good, but billups is hard to replace, he's the one that keeps everybody together (barely ...).Without billups they will probably make the playoffs, but that's about it.

If he's going to bring what I've seen, then he can do it.

3rd option

I think he'll have a very good first half to the season and then drop off just like Jose did. These guys aren't used to so many games all at once.

I could see him putting up 9pts/6ast/2rebs to start the season but by the All Star game I'm guessing it will be down to about 5pts/4ast/1reb

I definitely think Roko will be a solid backup - it's not going to be a 1a / 1b case like last year's point guard situation kind of was, so I'm glad that the better point guard is going to log more of the minutes.

But people are talking about Roko possibly being a bust, and I honestly don't see it happening. Roko really doesn't fit the mold of the average European player - his tendency is to slash, his handles are supposedly legendary, and apparently his shot needs work. I think the fact that his game is more NBA-suited decreases the chance of a bust. That's just my two cents though.

Hopefully your right, i admittedly havent seen much of him besides the Olympics and from what i saw there, there was nothing legendary to speak of.

But then again, you have probably seen more of him than we have... so i just hope you turn out to be wrong.
Yeah, I hope so too )
He sure has a very quick first step. If he can finish or dish it nicely for 10-15 minutes then we'll be ok.
