Default Robin Lopez?

Suns aren't extending him...Lets get rid of Grey, Alabi & Mags & just pick this guy up? He is a hustle player from what I have seen.

Hmm Lopez Centre and Barg play Power Forward; sound interesting. I say BC get it done; very good relationship with Phoenix.

I don't think Brooks Lopez is a good fit with Bargnani. Both rebound poorly for their size and position, and both aren't the most nimble players.

Robin would be fine as a situation player. He would be an upgrade over Gray and Magloire at the very least.

Brook would cost too much & we have JV coming next year so I think Robin is a better fit IMO

Although having both together would be pretty cool (Sedin twins?)

I'm sure they'd prefer to keep Redd.... doesn't really add any value for them, and I could see how they would turn down Lopez for Ed so I'm not sure we'd be asking for more.

Both rebound poorly? Brooke Lopez has shown in his career to be pretty good rebounder. I think he's a career 8.2rpg player. He had a poor season last season, but his track record shows that should juist be a bump in the road for him.

With Lopez what you see is what you get.

Actually, Robin was drafted as the Lopez with more upside.... I wouldn't sell his upside short just yet and yes I've heard that Ed has serious upside..... but the Raps should take the C in this regard without hesitation.

Bargnani has a career rebounding average of 4.9. This year, he has a 6.5 average.

Lopez has a career rebounding average of 7.6. Last year, he only averaged 6.0 rebounds a game.

Ideally, you would hope that either starting PF or C would be averaging close to 10 rebounds a game and together be between 16 and 18 or higher. These two together have a career average of 13.5. Even if we took their career bests, their accumulative average would be 15.2.

To me, that's one poor rebounding, frontline duo.

Brook and AB would be a very soft frontline.... it's not advisable.

BTW, trading Ed Davis for Robin Lopez would be a horrible trade for the Raptors. Lopez is better suited as an energy guy off the bench and he has zero offensive upside. At least with Davis, there's quite a bit of upside.

what about :
kleiza + ed + 1st 2013
for
morris + lopez

i really thibk kleiza can be a good fit there and when he will rich his 100%, i think they will be very happy with him.

we take on a center to pair with JV next season and a sf/pf rookie whom show soem huge potential.
we give up a pick and ed, but we get 2 solid prospect.
