Jose is the guy to move this team ahead at the pg position. This 2 guard duo will not work. Some thing got to change and I believe that TJ Ford is the odd man out . Nothing personal here actually we are having alittle fun here.
I'm not disagreeing that the two point guard experiment is no longer as great as it was last year..and I woudlnt' be against moving one of them... and to be honest i could live with whatever BC decides but this hating on TJ like he was Vince Carter's bowel movement is way over the top and not fun to read. Be critical but be fair... this run tj out of town shit is way past old.

I think it's too early to start hating on TJ this much. I wouldn't boo him at this point (after a handful of games) - but if this trend of him taking over games happens consistently over the next few weeks, i may join in on the booing.
You see that's the thing, we do not have a few weeks to be patient with TJ, as our record shows we can't afford to lose games. We are in a situation where playoff seeding is very important, if we can even get to the playoffs. It is important for this team to finish high in the standings or risk losing in the 1st round again.

I get you, Iggy.

I just don't see that much good coming from hometown fans trying to run a player out of town at this point. Negativity can only do so much - and in the end, it doesn't solve the problem.

Keep in mind a lot of the animosity stems from the fact there's another guard waiting to take his minutes... if there were no Jose, people wouldn't be this passionate against Tj.... because it's not so much about not wanting Tj as it is about wanting Jose on the floor.

absolutely! that's what makes this a rather complicated problem.

Still, i'm in the anti-booing boat as i don't see it as productive.

BINGO! you hit the bullseye SWAN. It's true we have another PG waiting, and if we didn't people would not be on TJ as much as they are now, but the fact still remains that TJ is taking precious minutes away from a clearly better (maybe not skill-wise, but team-wise) player in Jose. Mostly everybody wants to see Jose in because they know the team will have more success with Jose running the court, I also believe the players want Jose in as well for the fact that he spreads the ball around and makes sure every players gets a touch, resulting in better team play or chemistry and better overall team success.

PG's are the ones that are suppose to gel the team together, they are responsible for setting up plays that will provide the team with 2 or 3 points in a possession as easily as possible. When you have a PG that chucks 20+ shots a game in limited minutes while ignoring a few open teammates then you have a situation. I know it is not really TJ's game to play like Calderon, but the way this team is built, he will need to in order for the team to be comfortable and get the W's.

Well that's all subjective opinion... and I dont' disagree completely with it...but i'll say this...TJ did pretty good last year playing his style.. he is young and learning still(the beginning of this season he was amazing)... and with Bosh out he's being asked to do more scoring. I"d like people to lay off him until Bosh is back and he's had time to readjust. The first 3 games of his return with Bosh in the lineup he was on fire making passes and scoring at the right times... i'm confident that TJ will resurface once our star is back playing.

i agree with you that tj had a helluva year last year..efficient and distributed the ball well..but dude's completely a different man this year....i knew from the beginning of the year that he was gonna be selfish....i believe in an interview before the season he said "my goal is to make the all star team"....well that clearly makes sense to us why this guys' been chucking up shots all day ignoring his teammates....this is a point in everyone's life where one gets GREEDY. he has to learn that there is a learning process to transform yourself into an all star...its more than an interview and going out and chucking up 20+ shots...even john lucas told him that he's dribbling too much....have we seen an attempt to change yet? id be the first one to tell you i havent....

DAILY TJ FORD ROUTINE (WAIT FOR THIS TONIGHT AGAINST THE WARRIORS)
- ok so im gonna dribble a thousand times down to the free throw line then i will look around either run myself out of bounds in the baseline or pull up and do some crazy fadeaways and jog back on defence when the shot is missed....

wow....thats really sick wicked nasty man....

If I hear one more person use the 'allstar' quote against TJ but not against Chris Bosh who's goal it is every year to be an allstar i'm going to continue to not respect that person's opinion

Seriously...give that old line a rest, it dont' work no more. Tj uses dribbling as a weapon..it doesn't always work and he's still young and improving but it's not without purpose or random.

Oh and yeah this year's been different... something happened..now what was it...let's see...oh yeah..dude almost got paralized... silly him for being a little out of sorts and having to readjust. Damn he's selfish.

All that is well and good SWAN, and I understand your defending him, but he needs to pass the fucking ball. I'm telling you, his teammates don't like it, it will only cause problems, why bother working on offense these days when TJ is on the floor, you aint gonna see the ball.

its not like he went through a complete change after the hit by forford...i admit regardless of how bad a player plays i would never want him to get hurt for the sake of him sitting out....but dude was doing the same exact shit before anyways so the only thing he had to adjust coming to the game was how to get his 20+ shots up and sometimes he has a hard time doing therefore he will run himself out of bounds and as for why he jogs up the court for defence after...its because he had used all his energy in the previous play...i think mr wicked nasty is forgetting the fact that prior to him getting hurt there was game late in the 4th where we were down and he chucked up 3 consecutive three point shots within 15 seconds of the ball game i dont know man ill never forget that because it was too hilarious it was like an out of control spring going up and down (all missed obv).and fyi mr i love tj ford....he did say he wanted to be an all star in the beginning of the season..i read it on raptors.com....so are you really going to disrespect your best friend?? hes your only friend here man.... im just saying what im seeing....dont take it so personal now...

soo if someone is injured we should tolerate his poor play..in that case we should fire sam mitchell for putting this guy on the floor...im not talking about 1-5 games of his inefficient play...its been all year....ok so guys watch out when chris Bosh comes back because it means that he can run the offence by himself and completely disregard his team mates including ford (A GUARANTEE FROWN ON HIS FACE)...now lets see how that will play out....thats gonna be like exciting new york knicks isiah thomas basketball duddee....no need for salami and cheese anymore

Okay you're all over the place here...let me itemize.

1. It was a complete change after he got hurt. Before TJ went down he was the team's best player early in the season.

2. The first 3 or so games after he returned he was playing very well...not taking a lot of shots...making amazing plays for his team-mates.
3. Bosh went down, TJ asked to score more... took that too literally in orlando... good and bad stretches since.

4. Yes he said he wanted to be an allstar... but my point was so does Chris Bosh say that every year and no one says he's selfish or anything bad about Mr Bosh so it's one or the other. Can't have your smarties and eat them too.

5. I remember the 3 3pt attempts your speaking off..yeah that was ugly. I also remember Jose dribbling balls off his foot in crunch time. I also remember Bosh turning it over on 2 consequtive late game plays and we lose. I also remember Bargnani missing 8 threes in a game and not driving..and the list goes on. They're human, they screw up.

smitch talks to him... it lasts a game, then he's back being the same old TJ.
Smitch has called "ONE" play seemingly every play everytime TJ's in the game. He clearly WANTS to run the pick and roll everytime TJ's on th efloor. If he was unhappy with TJ's countless shot attempts he would have taken him out. Both of them are at fault.

some ppl just dont get it...what im trying to say is that the things that he does just make ppl scratch their heads and wonder wtf was that? a little turnover here and there is reasonable but forcing yourself into a turnover is a different story seriously...especially when you do that because of trying to get a shot off for yourself...btw you just insulted chris Bosh for even comparing them..ford is nowhere near Bosh in terms of all star credibility...ford cant even touch jose calderon....people just need to know their role its not like he's been having chris paul or deron williams years for him to make a claim like that...i think you need to go on www.espn.com and read some bill simmons articles and maybe you will have second thoughts...btw i hope charles barkely watches tonight's game against the warriors...we need someone blunt and straight up when evaulating players not some commentators who are worried of getting trouble to critic someone...btw at least andrea is learning from his mistakes i do see him working hard on his pump fakes and moves i do see him taking it to the basket and throwing it down....but still WHAT I DONT SEE IS TJ FORD DRIBBLING LESS AND GETTING EVERYONE INVOLVED MORE..i remember last night there was a play where tj passed it to delfino and tj was demanding for the ball back and delfinio completely ignored him...that sums up all the Raptors players that are unhappy playing with this dude..you know youre not gonna win when you have to ignore your player because of his selfishness...its like 4 on 5 now.....as for the coaching staff...either they are BLIND OR THEY ARE JUST IGNORANT....enough said seriously...im putting out the FIRE S.M SIGNS if change isnt made

Can we keep the little shit tj ford on the west coast. Maybe they can ditch him and leave him behind when the team returns back to toronto.
