Let's expand this then. Why boo Camby? Why boo Juan Dixon? Why boo Bargs? It's because Toronto fans are the most fickle, uninformed fans around. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to sit in the stands at a Raps home game to figure this out.

Hey have you ever been to a New York Yankee home game ? If not be careful when you make a comment about being fickle and the most, "uninformed fans around".

philly fans are supposedly some of the most knowledgeable football fans around, but they are very quick to turn on their heroes in any sport... passionate fans do this kind of stuff.

We're not talking about one of the most storied and succesful franchises in all of sports history, we're talking about a ten year old basketball franchise trying to stay afloat in a sea of blue, white and CCM's.

They're the most hostile fans towards visiting teams, like cheering Michael Irvin breaking his neck and throwing batteries at the visitors.

tj ford brought this all upon himself....the knicks will be a better fit for him considering how indiscplined and selfish of a player he is...we don't need that in raptorland...we don't need someone dribbling 99% of the time during the raps offence then who would drive to the baseline and do the circus dance and chuck the ball up to whereever hoping that someone will bail him out nor do we need someone who runs himself out of bounds losing control.....i cant remember which game it was last week (maybe against orlando) but someone better show this guy what he had accomplished towards the end in the 4th quarter = 6+ consecutive raptor possession, all (missed/ stupid) shots were taken by ford, his team mates never got a touch at all...i was sitting at home with my brother and we were like wtf is sam mitchell thinking honestly to leave him in the game? and the commentators can't bash him out since they work "under contract" for the raps....someone seriously need to get CHARLES BARKELY to watch this guy play and i guarantee you everyone will have a great laugh afterwards...yet it will make perfect sense to all of us Raptors fans....BTW...GREAT performance by ford again tonight against the lakers....20+ points for him from his michael jordan fadeaways and vince Carter dunk attempt on kobe (that was impressive)....this is why we have ignorant ppl who think ford is soo goooodddd...because in highlights they show how he scores 20 - 30 points..but they never show his 10 turnovers (ok a little overexagerrated but very close to that on a daily basis)....

NOW YOU GUYS GO FIGURE WHY WE SHOULDNT BOO SUCH A GREAT BASKETBALL PLAYER LIKE TJ FORD....

ummm no!

Ford is definitely not better than Jose!

Shooting- Jose
Passing- Jose
Offensive awareness- Jose
Speed- TJ
Steals- TJ
Durability- Jose
Clutch- Tie
Defense- Jose
Post offense- Jose
Post defense- TJ

there are other categories, but from what I see Jose is better at all of the aspects except for speed and steals, the only things TJ has over Jose.

Jose is better overall, and he has worked hard to get to that.

I have hated TJ ever since that game vs orlando and Bargs got pulled for brezec, and the camera shows the Raptors bench, and you can see TJ pointing to the end of the bench with his thumb, telling andrea to go there. From Kelly Dwyers mouth of yahoo sports "The way he ordered starters toward the end of the bench with a point, while Ford (a reserve) stuck to his seat in the middle of the bench" http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/nba...?urn=nba,70144

Good to hear fans finally booing this POS, he clearly doesn't care for team success anymore, and should be relegated to 3rd string minutes.

For everyone who still think TJ is the man, get your head out of your ass, because this is Jose's team now. TJ has made his bed, now he has to lay in it.

Thumbs down TJ Ford Sale

Wow I just got up and checked the box score and see we lost to no surprise to the lakers. Now the surprise is wtf is TJ doing playing more then the 2nd best player on the team. Wtf is he doing shooting 23 times in 27 minutes , thats more then Parker and Bargnani combined. I bet the boo birds will be waiting for him in Toronto. The Toronto fans will eat him up alive when he returns to Toronto. What is Mitchell doing was Jose hurt or is he trying to sooth the baby TJ. Its time folkes that we head down to ACC and really put the pressure on BC to get this little selfish chucker out of TO. I will start up a thread asking all raptor fans to come up with signs for our next home game showing our displeasure towards TJ Ford. Get this piece of shit out here before we blow up the rest of the year. Players must have pulled out a chair and watch the TJ show as he took count them 23 shots in 27 minutes.

That's just me.. and yes I think it's not classy at all to boo and want to run one of your players out of town...no matter whether you think the player is best for the team he's trying his ass off to help your team win, management and his players believe in him so cut the guy some slack I say.

Boo and slam a guy that gives up like Wince did...all day long! Not trying, not hustling is the cardinal sin in pro sports..that's the ultimate dis to us fans. Trying too hard perhaps? That should be reigned in but it's not a dis to us..he's trying to win, in part for us. You really should respect that on some level and rather than pray for him to be traded, hope that he can get back to really making this team better like he did early in the year and all last year... and if BC sees fit to trade him, he will.
I cant wait till Tj is out of this team and you can finally stop defending him, everyone here, except for you and a couple more people are the only ones defending TJ. Save yourself the trouble of writing a response to every "fuck TJ" post and just accept the fact that he is an inferior player now, no longer top 10, not even top 20. I know he is struggling, but to struggle and bring the team down with you is unacceptable is my books. TJ needs to go ASAP for this team to succeed.

Well Tj seems to be doing what the coaches are asking of him isn't he...he was left in the game last night because he was being effective. So it ain't just me and a couple others here.

Yeah and Jose did so much better last night. If he were guarding Fisher one on one it woudl have been a bit different, but they constantly doubled kobe and that leaves guys open...read the papers, that was Sam's strategy... make the other beat them..and last night they did. To win last night's game we needed to score and we needed Kobe's entourage to stumble... one happened the other didn't.

There were 5 chairs on the floor for the raptors. The four Raptors sitting and watching were saying wtf TJ just tell us when the game is over. Wtf coach get him the hell out of here.

And yet they didn't pull him out... odd isn't it. He must have been doing what he was asked to do.

if you guys really think he shouldnt be booed, i dunno what to say anymore.

if thats true about him pointing guys to go to the end of the bench, ithe little respect i did have for the guy is now all gone.

he just doesnt learn...
smitch talks to him... it lasts a game, then he's back being the same old TJ.

it looks as if him getting booed is the only way to shut him up and put him in his place.

i am starting to hate him...

Well he must have been told to play with himself. while the other 4 guys caught a few
. Hey dawg I know you are a rapts fan so that makes you a good person, however lets understand that for us to move ahead our point guard must not be selfish. Jose is the guy to move this team ahead at the pg position. This 2 guard duo will not work. Some thing got to change and I believe that TJ Ford is the odd man out . Nothing personal here actually we are having alittle fun here.

i've never been a proponent of booing players on my favorite team unless they're CLEARLY doing much more harm than good and show NO indication of wanting to change that (i.e. mike James). That being said, TJ hasen't exactly warmed himself up to the hometown fans of late. and while it may be an example of being "fickle", it also shows that most vocal toronto fans have a mental picture of how they think the Raptors should be playing for success - namely NOT having the PG make himself option no.1.

I think it's too early to start hating on TJ this much. I wouldn't boo him at this point (after a handful of games) - but if this trend of him taking over games happens consistently over the next few weeks, i may join in on the booing.
