Rip Hamiton has quit on the Pistons?

Quote:
Guard Richard Hamilton, a mainstay during the Pistons' run of six consecutive conference finals appearances, is upset with his role on the team and has become a distraction, team sources said.

Hamilton's non-participation in Saturday's practice, along with his upset stomach that caused him to miss Sunday's game and complaints about his diminished role have led some in the organization to wonder if Hamilton has quit on the Pistons.

"He quit on us," one team source said. Another team source said Hamilton is acting out of emotion and should adjust.

Jose's been fantastic. Hamilton is one of the best half court players in the NBA. Hamilton and Jose are potentially are match made in heaven.

Sorry for the Titling should have thought that through a little more.

I am little surprised no one sees the worth of an ( championship ) off the ball shooting guard. I would be tempted to through some of our youth at Detroit, or in a perfect scenario Paja in an attempt to get him. I don't think he is done, I think his play (or the lack of) is the product of Detroit ( the city and the team). I think if used correctly he could be our most productive SG.

Richard Hamilton: It hurts that someone in the organization said I quit | MLive.com

Quote:
"Nah, the biggest thing that hurt me was a source in the organization said I quit," Hamilton said in reference to a Detroit News report.

"I was like, wow," he continued. "That was hard for me because the last nine years I just went out and played hard, played aggressive, did put everything on the line every night. To hear that allegation, it was tough on me."

Yeah let's trade our best point guard Jeff. Good thinking, hand the reigns over to Bayless and not take care of the ball. Let's see how much sense that makes.

Why do you keep harping about Jose needing to get traded? Based on how he's actually played this season i wouldn't want to trade him. You talk about him like he's keeping us in the basement, but he's actually one of the main reasons we've won as much as we have. He's a great PG for this team. I's understand advocating this theory if you want to tank, but you of all people are always after wins.
