Rip Hamilton?

If Detroit does pick up Ben Gordon and with the possibility of them getting CV, Rip Hamilton may be on the block...is there any possible trade to pick him up on a S&T or any other possibility?

Rip Hamilton would look awesome in a raps uniform. There hasn't really been any buzz about this as far as I can tell, though. Then again, that's kind of BC's style.

If we do somehow trade marion and something for him, what do we do about the glaring hole at SF?

How is Rip gonna work in a running atmosphere?

hamilton has a horrible contract, 12/yr for the next 3 seasons. I'd rather have hedu at that price, and even then it would be horribly overpriced.

i'd much rather have rip than hedo. better shooter, better defender, better fit. he's the perfect guy to pair with chris and andrea on the wing.

31 year old, 12/yr for the next 3 seasons. I think if we give him all this money we can give Marion 10/yr for 3, who's a better fit. Or find something better.

he's old and the type of guy who will be affected by age because he's so fragile. Plus he's nowhere the shot creator than hedu is - he doesn't really addresses any of our big weaknesses (rebounding and slasher).

anyway, 12 million is a bad contract for either. Not as bad as 11 for gordon, but close. I'd take marion at 9 any day over any of them.

As a huge hamilton fan, I would love to see his "Reggie Miller" style here.
He still has the speed in his age and well, more reason to but a face mask =P

however the 12 mill a year is a turnoff, and how long is that? 2 more years?

stop pretending that marion is terrible. he was the second best player in miami and during his short time in toronto he was the best player. also, in pheonix he was amazing. so, give your head a shake. i mean if there's already a rumoured deal for josh howard that is something is it not.

Am I missing something here? I'd like to give that title to Bosh. Despite all of the bitching that he gets from the fans (some of it can be justifiable) I think you'd have to be pretty silly to believe that any one else on the team last year was better than he was for the overall season.
