What the hell do we have that NJ would want for RJ?

I'd be shocked if Bargs was moved...

Ok, whatever. I'll back down and watch from a distance. Then when the time comes...

I'm sure Bargs and a big part of our bench/picks can get RJ. Remember, anything is possible!

no offense dude, but how can you tell a guy to calm down and at the same time put 4 exclamation points in 5 sentences?

I wouldn't mind trading JO for RJ if we could make the contracts work (easier said than done)

NJ could use him so they have a buttload of cap space when Lebron gets free, wink wink the only plan the franchise and Jay Z have right now

And I'd rather have RJ than JO at this point

I'd rather have O'Neal.

Having O'Neal patrol the paint and strengthening our interior D, rebounding and blocking shots and being able to score on the other end is going to help us more than what RJ can bring to the table.

Why don't we go out and try to match offers for other RFA? There are a bunch out there who have great talent like AI2, J-Smooth, Luol Deng, Ben Gordon ect..

Here you go...

They have made some cursory inquiries with Phoenix (about Boris Diaw and Leandro Barboso), more substantive discussions with Toronto (about Andrea Bargnani), and there has been some dialogue with Denver about Carmelo Anthony.
nj.com

A starting five of:

O'Neal
Bosh
Jefferson
Parker
Calderon

Would be next to none in the east. The boys would be ready to rumble with the Celts in the conference finals.

The East could be very good next year for sure, considering alot of teams in the west are loking to make changes. The east may take advantage of that.I think the balance of power may be shifting a bit.

RJ traded to Milwaukee for Yi and Simmons. After hearing this, do you think we could have had a shot at getting him assuming Bargs could be dealt? I do.

no - the only reason they made the deal was the expiring contract of simmons. We just ran out of expiring contracts unfortunately ...
