I gave him a B but a B+ I think he is the only Raptor other than Chris Bosh to score that high.
He was to be sitting with POB and Banks but when given a chance he achieved.
He also works at his game and steadily improved .
I would not be ashamed of him as a starter at SG because he still has an upside and he has the flexibility to play SF.

Money Weems made Demar expandable. I give him an A. gave us hope at the end of the season. If he continues to improve over the summer I see him being a big factore in the teams success. Especially if Bosh is gone. Bargs + Weems are the future.

I think if you combined DeMar and Sonny you'd have a player that's perfect for this team. You'd get DeMar's finish and Sonny's jump shot. Perfect.

having Sonny and DeMar is exactly what this team needs... these two can play for the Raptors their entire career based on their apparent friendship. its awesome for the teams chemistry and promoting positive work habits because they both strive to become the very best!

A for me. Coming into the year I didn't even think Weems would do much if anything. He came in and throughout the season made some key plays for the Raptors.

That stl that he had against GS at the end was still one of the greatest plays that I've ever seen from a Raps player... man.... if only we could've had that!

he ended up being tied with Amir for the second best player in that deal... Roko nearly made third best, lol.

I expected him to rot at the end of the bench but he became a starter. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++

LXs comment is bang on. If hes on a team where hes a 3rd option on offence if we dont get any primary players in the offseason if Bosh leaves hes going to look like a chucker next year. But if he has good offensive players around him where he can just focus on D and making open shots then he'll be a very nice role player for us. I dont expect him to ever start for us though unless he develops a deadly 3 pt shot and better dribbling. I think Demar has more ability and talent and will flourish as more of a primary guy/starter in upcoming years.

Keep dreamin' homeboy.

Best-case scenario for those two guys is Richard Jefferson and a very poor man's Richard Hamilton. Still two very solid players but I don't see them taking the league by storm at any point.

I know its not the best comparison because Kobe was younger... but still kobe's first season in the NBA unfolded in a very similar fashion to Weem's first 'real' NBA action.

I can't remember the last 'practically a rookie' to shot over 50 FG% with more then 450 attempts in the season...

the similarities are hilarious tho... 6'6, 205lbs, #24, arm sleeve, high flyers, killer jump shot and very very clutch! weems being 10 years younger....

I hope Weems gets 20+ mins a game to see if he can continue with his great development.
