joey is equal to most ten day contract guys or FAs trying to make their way on a roster
we might as well just take a risk on someone else if we want him back

A liability on the court is not depth!! Keep that in mind

Was he really a liability this season? I saw him to be versatile and important tough bench player. More useful than Hump anyway

Why does everyone like joey's game ? He isn't worth the time the hasn't gotten better, he is a turn over waiting to happen I mean pops was better than him last year in alot less games I wish everyone would just admit he is garbage, even Raptors tv has a commercial where Jose Is calling out his name ... The Raptors own promo team mock him. I don't want see him back here period.

He's a nice guy but he is garbage!

If BC can sign Marion, DeRo, AP and Delfino then Joey should be gone. Not enough playing time to spread around all of them. A move might be the best thing for him but I'll hate seeing him go. He's got talent, just needs consistency.

AP/Joey should both be gone and probably will be.

AP would help the bench and BC has his bird rights so he can pay him more then other teams likely would so I think AP will be back.

They need someone who can score coming off the bench.

Pay him more then anyone. He was making 4.5Mil last season and will now be coming off the bench therefore he's worth no more then 3Mil. Would he take that?? All i know is we better not over pay him to be a bench player.

Joey shows flashes of what he is during games. Consistency, keeping that intensity for 82 games is what kills him. He disappeared once Pops came in. If he's brought in for 2 million. Then sure, that's a cap friendly number it won't kill us. Any more and sadly you have to walk away.

We can find bench help of equal quality for less than an overpaid Anthony Parker. The only Raptor FA I wouldn't mind seeing overpaid is Marion. Anyone else can take what BC gives them or bon voyage.

Joey was basically our only toughness for most of the season, once he gets a bit rowdy and physical, he can be a difference maker, prob is hard to get pumped up when your teammates are all soft as the twinkie filling.

i definitely want Joey back.

don't really have that much to add to the discussion, but let's just remember that for a while Joey was the ONLY guy taking it strong to the hoop.

Really not sure how much money he's looking for and how much Colangelo wants to give him, but when you look at some of the complete uselessness we are going to have on the roster: Douby, Banks, O'Bryant.... I would welcome Joey for sure.

So they let him hit the market as an unrestricted free agent. If somebody wants to over pay then let them. There will be other guys out there better than him with a $3.4M price tag.

That's why i don't want Joey here. We already have alot of dead weight on this Roster and after 5yrs of Joey Graham i consider him to be one of them....to a lesser degree of course but still.

The problem is that this bench is shit. And if you can't get rid of Banks and need to keep POB because of lack of options @ C, then somebody has to go. Upgrades have to be made on that bench and therefore Joey and probably AP are the odd men out. Status quo just won't cut it, and imo Joey/AP and maybe Hump probably won't be back, which would constitute change and added depth if they are replaced with the right players. And i think Joey needs a change, and it would do him good.

To simpify it, because of players like Douby/POB/Banks you need someone better then Joey.

joey is NBDL level - there was (and will be) 0 interest in him this off-season. If he was so "promising", how come there is no buzz, no inquiring teams?

And don't forget that he's quite old for a "prospect". I'd love to keep him for minimum salary, but for 3.4 I'd prefer to stock up with three POB types. You know, prospects who are at least young ...

Do you honestly expecting a player of his calibre to be generating buzz at this early of the off-season? I don't know where you get the notion that everyone expects great things out of him... Everyone pretty much wants him here for 1 or 2 million to fill out the bench, that's it. Quite frankly most NBDL players are capable of filling that role anyway. Teams aren't going to be look to add the final one or two pieces on their bench until a bit closer to training camp anyway, so I don't get why you're acting like we're lauding Joey Graham as an up and coming superstar.
