![]() It will be interesting to see what the team decides re: Reggie. Frankly i don't see him with that much of a role on the court. He very much fits the role of teacher/mentor to some of the younger players on the team and not much of a producer. That's not the type of role that deserves much money.
I guess we'll see how much he really likes it here if he's back and depending on what cost. |

![]() I'd give him incentives for staying healthy that would make his contract worth 2.5-3.5 million. He's a good dude and we need his drive and leadership on this young team.

![]() I would like to see him around, but really only in a limited role on the court. I think having him work the young bigs in practice would be invaluable but he's just too offensively limited to be relied on heavily on the court now that Ed Davis and Amir Johnson have emerged as steadier forces in that regard. Even Joey Dorsey has shown some of the things Reggie gives us but with a bit more offensive polish.
I guess for me it comes down to...good teams have guys like Reggie on their roster. Great teams have guys that do everything Reggies does and everything he doesn't. Do we want to be good or great? |

![]() I want Reggie back. Not for his on-court production, but for his experience, leadership and toughness that translates well off the court.
We have a young, inexperienced team. Having solid, tough vets will help the team mature. If we can get him for the vet's minimum, he should definitely stay. I doubt he will stay here instead of going elsewhere for the minimum though. Still, I think if we can offer him just a little more than the min, he'll want to stay. |

My concern has only ever been in Reggie playing 6th man or starter's minutes. With very rare exceptions, one-dimensional players should not be on the floor for 24+ minutes. If he comes back at a good price and in a reserve role, I would be glad to see him here. |
