Rebuild. I'm sick of mediocore teams. I'd like to do the growth process again

Thing is, we don't have the players to win now, nor the assets to acquire the players that will allow us to win now.

I am ready willing and able to accept 2-3 years of piss-poor teams if it means we'll be contenders coming out of it. BC has stockpiled some young, competitive athletes that are willing to put in the work and get after it. I don't mind watching that group of guys lose for a couple of years if they're going down swinging and we'll be a better team at the end of it all.

We are losing our franchise player, and we wil getting 50 cents to the dollar for Bosh in any sign and trade. Get some young pieces back, and let them play together with ED Davis, Derozan, and Weems for a couple of years. That bad thing is we have a GM who has one year left on his contract, and needs to win now.

Depends who it is we get with the "win now" really.

If we manage to somehow snag CP3, it's win now no question.
Even without bosh, our expirings could land us Melo next year providing he doesn't resign.

So you need a "it depends" option

finally getting smarter eh?

but it is only logical.

If Lee and a tpe comes back then rebuild.

If somehow ended up with A stud pg, some more depth and defense then go for it now.

True but the chances of the Raptors getting a back a player you truly would like to build around is slim and none.

DOnt neccessarily need to get back a player to build around. I would say that that piece could already be here or could be someone you never would have guessed.

A real team isnt built around one guy, unless it is a rare talent such as Lebron or Durant or Kobe. Instead a team needs to be assembled that has a the proper pieces that work together in an effort to maximize a players abilities.

Case in point Salmons, he couldnt really do anything in Chicago and becomes a much more valuable piece for Milwaukee. Or Hedo who was very important to Orlando and did Jack shit here. Or Davis in GS and Davis in LAC.

Rebuild.

We should Focus on the young talent we have and build around them
eg: Johnson, Weems, DeRozan, Davis. Not sure around Andrea, yeah put him back at the 4 then yes include him

BC has done a lot for this franchise putting pieces around Bosh. But It could be worse. look at the Clippers, They have been a Joke since Elton Brand left with Dissapointing Season after Season... it could change this year though with a healthy Blake Griffin

But back to Toronto. If we go into Rebuilding its not going to Kill the Franchise. sure we Might have some iffy seasons in terms of Wins over the next few years, but it would only get better if we got high into the Draft next season or the year after.

Start from scratch and work our way back up.

Since option 2 is not really an option, I have to go with option #1 ...

Its win now! Dont you guys understand, it has to be win now. BC's job is on the line, i dont think saying "He MLSE, ya this year I expect the team to win 20 games, we are gonna lose a some money this year, but hey we will get a gamble at a high pick in the next draft, oh and give me another contract after the season is over

Agreed. At least New Jersey, Chicago and Philadelphia has some young nice pieces they can build around in the East.

how do you figure that when you have no idea at all what the pieces are coming back once the smoke all settles on a Bosh S&T? or do you think that in no way Bosh can be replaced.

If Bosh comes back we'll barely make/miss the playoffs
if Bosh leaves the S&T return won't equal his talent, so we'll be worse off
plus, we still have the same coach
