What's a realistic trade scenario for a small forward that will work for both parties?
The market for an SF isn’t great. Let's mention some of the possible realistic options if we're operating under the premise that none of our key pieces are going to be moved; in no particular order (you can add): Trevor Ariza (2 years) John Salmons (2 years left, third NG) Wilson Chandler (3 years, 4h NG) Shawn Marion (2 years) Tayshaun Prince (3 years) Wesley Johnson (1 year) Mike Miller (LOL JK) Chris Douglas Roberts (NBA DL UFA) Other.... Furthermore, I'm fairly confident BC will not move Lowry, Valanciunas, and DeRozan. He may be more likely to move Bargnani now, but who knows if he will or if the right deal comes along. Players like Terrence Ross and Bargnani are obviously going to net us more than the above mentioned names. Feel free to suggest ANYONE (key pieces included), but we'll see if it holds up to scrutiny. Agreed. I like Evans and he's probably available but I can't see them moving derozan to the three. The closest guy on the list that could be available is Danny Granger. The pacers would ask for a lot and his health is a cause for concern.

He's not a true 3 and we already have Kleiza in that same role.... too many of those guys.... if he can genuinely defend the SF spot, I'm on board. I like his size and swagger, but he looks heavy on his feet and he doesn't look smooth at all. If he can move his feet quick enough, fine.

Didn't wizards wanted to trade Ariza and Okafor+ pick to get rid of their shitty contracts? We could make that happen, getting that pick would be huge

I'd take Derrick over Linas every day. There's simply too much talent and upside there. I've seen him play some insane games, athleticism, great range, everything. Defensively I'm not sure... |
