A number of teams have asked about guard Anthony Parker, according to league sources.

Parker, 34, is unlikely to return to Toronto, especially after the team drafted DeMar DeRozan with the 9th pick.

The Spurs, Celtics, Suns, Cavaliers and Thunder have reportedly asked about Parker, who will become a free agent on July 1st.

Parker, who is looking for one last lucrative contract, could return to the Euroleague if he is unable to get a suitable contract from an NBA team.

Is it even possible / worth it to pull a sign and trade? Who would we be able to get in return? It looks like we might just have to let the man walk...

Any team who gets Parker will improve their bench a ton for the next 2-3 years. I'm really hoping we re sign him.

i think there's going to be a good chance for him to re-sign, he's going to make about the same every he goes in the nba, and the role will be the same as a key bench player
so basically he'll be deciding on whether he wants to stay or go attempt to get a championship now

I would love to have Parker resign, however, can we work out a sign and trade with Phx. I'm interested to know if Parker Plus cash is enough to get us Barbosa?

Also with Phx. Parker plus cash plus Roko, is it enough to get Nash?

If the celtics, cavs and spurs are all seriously interested, then AP's as good as gone. Why would you sign for a 6/7 seed when you can latch on to a contender for around the same price?

Nash makes around 13 mill next season... It's not as simple as NBA Live where you can automatically make a player sign with your team and then ship him off over to Phoenix.

We cannot let Anthony Parker just sign with another powerhouse in this league and come off the bench for them. Especially not an Eastern Conference foe.

That's why he said "include him" in a trade.

Yes, but having Nash with a 13 mill salary alongside Calderon is not a wise utilization of cap space. Most of the money that can be used to acquire a decent free agent (wing player) would be pretty much squandered.

First of all Nash and his 13Mil is a team option that certainly won't be picked up so a S&T for 9-10Mil could be made even though i absolutely can't see Nash coming here, nor can i see Calderon being traded.

Saying that at this point is rediculous to say the least.

if celtics or cavs are interested and AP wants a championship then bye bye AP
if AP wants a close and tight professional team kind of like the Raptors then he might as well go to the spurs as they have more promise in getting the championship and their team is not as much of a joke in the league as we are
if AP just wants to stay then we have a chance, lets just hope AP doesn't want to move anywhere
