Arrow Rasho to return to Europe?

Quote:
Rasho Nesterovic isn't happy with his last season in the Toronto Raptors, and is considering whether to stay in the NBA or the go back to Europe after 11 seasons in the United States. The 34-year-old Slovenian center will listen to offers from both sides to decide where to play next season.

Rasho was nothing but money all season when he stepped onto the court.. I'm not saying he's anything more than a backup - but he knows how to use his minutes efficiently and could probably be playing somewhere in the NBA more than 42gp/9.8min. Shame if he has to go to Europe.

If we don't re-sign Amir (and Bosh is gone) I'd be shocked if he wasn't back.... even so I could see a rotation of Bargs/Amir/Rasho next season.

You need at least one solid vet big man on the team.

1st Amir will be resigned and while I like Rasho him being a rotation player is lame. At best he is a situational player at a vet's minimum trying to inflate his value is crazy.

I think Rasho is a great professional....when he got minutes he was productive given his age and the situations he was put in(fill in for bosh)....He said he loves this city and the city seems to give him love back.....but...i don't think the Raptors were using him to his full potential and i don't think Raptors with him on the roster are living up to their potential ...the Raptors can do better and Rasho can do better....and to his credit he has been playing on these losing Raptors teams quite sometime.....remember he does have a ring with the spurs wheather he contributed or not he knows how it feels to win and i think he wants another taste of that before retirement....and rightfully so....iam all for Rasho going to play in Europe!....good luck Rasho....

I like him because he's a nice guy and I wish him well. But the guy should retire, he's pretty bad at this point. Plus if he didn't play here last season he won't play any more next season. Hopefully for him, he goes to Europe where he might get more minutes.

I hate losing professionals and smart basketball players.

Maybe not as talented as he once was, but there's something to be said for a guy who is always ready.
