Rasho leaving Raptors for Real Madrid?

Wouldn't we have to let him out of his contract? Sounds like the AP situation last season.

Here's the Google Translator version:

Quote:
In the last hours, Rasho Nesterovic (2.13m, 1976), Slovenian pivot of the Toronto Raptors, has been offered by your agent to Real Madrid to discuss a possible transfer until end of season ...

The veteran pivot Slovenian willing to end his long career in the NBA, where he currently plays under 10 minutes per game, to enlist in the ranks of a major European team ...

We look forward to what will happen but what is confirmed is that there have been contacts

It's too bad, I like Rasho. The minutes just aren't here for him now and definitely won't be when Reggie comes back.

Well that'll be good for him. Right now he is just wasting away on the bench when he has the potential to be MVp of the NBA

That sucks. He hasnt had the minutes, but I think he is valuable guy to teach the younger guys. Classy guy too. And he has played pretty well when given the chance. And might still prove to be valuable guy against certain matchups. Unfortunately wont get time on regular basis.

Good for him, I was starting to feel bad for him riding the bench.

I would be interested to see how Rasho does in Europe.

Bullshit

He wouldn't play more than 10 minutes a game. Real Madrid has Garbajosa, Reyes, Lavrinovic, Velickovic and Hervelle / Van Der Spiegel. Those 3 are way better than Rasho. He'd be a DNP coach decision like here

Is there such thing as inter-league trade?
