I like this:
He has a strong upper body, and if there was a parallel universe out there where Charles Oakley was a six foot point guard, Lawson would be the body. |

I really liked him in the tourney.
The Clark/McGrady comparison was made by Jim Kelly on Raps TV last night, and it didn't look like he thought that was a good thing necessarily. |

Maybe BC pulls off a deal like Minnesota got last year when they traded down a couple of spots with Memphis, got Kevin Love as a draft selection and Mike Miller in the process.
I love the sounds of Lawson. He seems like a very heady point guard, a tough floor general. Ford in his mock drafts has him going 23 to Sacramento, Draft Express has him going 17 to Philadelphia and nbadraft.net has him going 25 to OKC. So, it seems like he'll be going in the late teens to early 20s. Dallas picks at 22. They've been rumoured to be enamoured with Jordan Hill, so perhaps the #9 pick goes to Dallas for Howard and the #22, at which the Raptors select Lawson. Just pulling it out of my ass. Food for thought. |

If Hill slips and Dallas is interested, it would be an option for Colangelo to think about, especially if they're offering Howard for the rights to Hill. Got anymore questions, Gurk? |

Ever since the tournament I've felt that Jordan Hill is going to be a bust. He didn't show me anything special during March Madness, and he didn't stand out as an extremely athletic dude.
But if the Mavs are drafting Hill and trading Josh Howard / Jason Terry to get him, does that signify the end of an era in Dallas? It looks like Kidd will be gone next year too. |
