thats why the raps need an interior presense
Bargs is standing at the 3pt line when he should be passing to someone like Kapono to take an open shot when he gets doubled

TO i don't know about you but I would rather have Pietrus any second of any minute of any hour of any day of any month of any year. Pietrus can play DEFENCE. I don't even think that word is in Krapono's vocabulary

he would if he went to the basket

usually when a player goes to the rim sometimes a help defender comes
hence there is an open player on the perimeter
thats just one example
if you are a threat to score or rebound the opposing team notices and double teams will become more common

I never said I prefer Kapono
I said Pietrus was the lesser of two evils
In Orlando he gets utilized, who says the coaching staff of the raps will use him effectivley
I don't think the raps would do much better w/ him
Its not like we missed out on an all star SG
so guys, don't cry about it

Kapono won a championship with Wade driving and kicking... and Shaq getting doubled in the post.

He is good at what he does... but we have anthony parker shooting fadeaways 1 foot inside the arc instead of a slashing SG and we have a 7 ft SG instead of a Center.

What's obvious? That you'd rather trade Bargs?

Not signing Mickael Pietrus is one of the few qualms I have with BC. After the New jersey series it was apparent that we needed a guy who could get to the rim and guard the Vince Carters and Kobe Bryants of the league and I was sure that with a solid perimeter player we'd be contenders. I wasn't on board with the Kapono signing when it happened, and I don't understand what could have caused BC to think that Kapono would contribute more than Pietrus. Hell, Pietrus is more effective from three than Jason is.
