Troll much? If you're actually serious, you need to get your head examined.

there is a say :
don't put all your eggs in the same bucket !

so why give awat all our good player for what, futur prospect.
no one can be sure we will get star in return.

you don't trade a top 5 players at his position for a futur "possible" top 4 player at his posiion. that don't make sense to me.

I can understand if we trade Lowry and Amir, they aren't top 5 player at their position.
Even if Amir is the best 3rd big men in the league.

and another thing, this team has trouble keeping their best player, but want to ship the one whom want to stay here for "possible" futur upgrade. man, that don't make sense at long term level or court term level.

get high pick in this draft will not be easy, limit impossible, so what is the point ?

It's eggs in the basket not bucket.
We don't have any top 5 players so this doesn't apply to us

Derozan, with the way he's performed this season, is worth more than his 9 million. Lowry, with the way he's performed, is worth up to say a 9 million dollar extension, for 3-4 years. I'm happy with a team with those two on it, locked into those sorts of contracts.

no need to trade

If Raps think that Lowry would demand a contract which they are not prepared to give him, they absolutely should move him. I mean, they could always attempt to sign him in the summer, if the situation allows for that to happen.

DD is a different matter. He has made strides every year he has been in the league, and could be already up there, probably in the top ten, at his position in the league while being paid reasonable money. With the way he is playing this season, I'd rather hold on to him and JV (and Amir, but mostly for sentimental reasons) and see if we could add a franchise player to this core. If it's Wiggins, Lowry could be re-evaluated after the draft.

Extend GV and PP too. Need long term backups making at least 3-4 million a year.

I'm not convinced Ujiri is "working hard" to move DeRozan. I tend to believe instead that he is showcasing T. Ross to move him with Lowry. It would make more sense to me.

Just my point of view though.

I would be pissed if we move Ross before we actually see what's his ceiling looks like.

Lol it was actually a mistake. I was going to edit my other post to add that in but I pressed the wrong thing and just went with the flow.

DD should not be making 10Mil+/yr. His 9.5Mil/yr is about right.

KL imo is a 7-8mil/yr player tops

$10M/yr is about half of a max contract. Given what DD provides right now you don't think he's worth that money?

And Lowry at $7M/yr? Dude.... this isn't 1995.

Well, he's making 9.5Mil/yr so 10Mil would be fine. I was saying 10Mil+. I was basically saying he is right in the area of where he's supposed to be. 9-10Mil is what he's worth imo. I wouldn't pay him 12Mil/yr for instance.

You think Lowry is worth more than 8Mil/yr??

The one thing I liked from DD last night was his ability to do something when his shot isn't falling, if he did that more often he'd be worth a lot more than he's paid now. But most nights it's simply scoring.

Less is more. More or less. But mostly less. Or should that be more?

I don't think you can say most nights any longer. It's pretty infrequent now that it's just scoring. He's grown along with the team. He's figuring out how to have the most impact within the confines of a team game. It's the kind of thing that takes a while for any player, and I still think he lost a good two years in that respect under Triano, when there was just no sense of purpose for the team as a whole.
