Jose will get better than where he is right now...

Jack will get better than where he is right now...

Derozan will get better than where he is right now...

Beli will get better than where he is right now...

Evens when he gets back from injury should get better than where he is right now...

I think there have been a lot of positives. At times the defense has looked great, and so far the offense has never been a problem.

I just hope sunday night's loss isn't too much of a backbreaker. We need the same effort if we're going to have any chance against Denver

Thanks for the thread of inspiration Jimmy Swaggert

In all honesty the Raptors schedule will go softer soon. This will give them a chance to string out a winning streak and also get to gel better as a team. We see what happens

I'm quite impressed with this team so far. Let's face it, we're .500 after 10 games in the middle of the worst stretch in the schedule with 10 new players. We seem to be gelling well. I expect us to lose to Denver and possibly squeeze one out vs Utah and go home either 6-6 or 5-7. And considering after 12 games many here thought we'd be well under .500.....as long as we stay reletively healthy this looks very promising.

Belinelli- getting into his stride, and really seems to fit in with the second unit

Amir- Impressed with his energy

Turkoglu- he's already hit some big shots for us and really helps the team flow

Jack- Struggling, but as HB said, he'll get better

Derozan- I like his attitude and agression

Can't wait to see Evans get back!!

I think Triano made the right decision in the Clippers game. To finish off games, play the roster BOSH-AMIR-HEDO-WRIGHT-CALDERON. On offense you have three guys who can handle the ball, Wright will be the outside threat, and AMIR doing the dirty work. On defence, Wright can guard the opponent's best perimeter player, and AMIR can help Bosh defend the paint and grab boards. Like Barkley said: two or three scorers & players who know their roles.

not sure how not playing your best 5 players down the stretch is a good idea. I can see a case being made for subbing offense/defense, or going small with Bosh at the 5 for extra quickness. But then again, amir is so foul prone that he should not see court time in the final 2 minutes of any quarter ...

My favorite lineup would be jose/belinelli/hedu/bosh and bargnani. Hedu + Bargnani on a P&R as the primary option, with Bosh waiting for rebounds under the basket. Bargnani is our best shooter by far, and Bosh is our best rebounder by far. Hedu has the height advantage on the P&R, and jose and marco could just man the wings keeping the D stretched.

In fact, this lineup can be deadly efficient after a few weeks of getting to know each other better.

But then again, offense is not the problem. We already are the best offensive team in the league. Which is why you can argue that we'll be better later in the season, since it can't get worse than being the worse defensive team (we're not that anymore, but it's still close ...).

We still lack that elusive penetrating ballhandler who can score. It was never more evident than in the Phoenix game. Nash goes to the basket to win the game, what do we do....The old usual 10 jumpshots to end the game that rarely ever works. Wish Iverson was happy coming off a bench, he's the type of player we need in late game situations.

I think we will continue to lose many close games this season simply because of our need for exactly that type of a player.

I would suggest that Bosh still has room to get better. He has shown some signs of having a nice passing touch. He can get more assists. And he can probably score a little more efficiently yet, as well as prove to be more effective on defense once the guys around him raise their games a little more.

What Bosh need to learn is shoot 3 pointer because it can become a deadly weapon; I remember last year against Washington wizard he shot a 3 pointer and that what seal the game ^_^; I never ever expected that to happen and not from Bosh

the best thing about cb's game is that he's barely shooting any jumpers now
shooting 3s is just about the worst thing he can do, especially when he makes them (unless it's a game winning shot ...).
